Something to potentially suggest, though it depends on your company size, is working with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI). This allowed us to have cheaper hardware, but log into desktop environments capable of running pro at recommended specs.

@ClayDonaldsonSWCA Currently the Add Data widget supports adding KML layer via URL. If you want to upload KMZ/KML files, you may submit an enhancement request. @Jianxia - thanks. where would I put an enhancement request to update the add data widget to have the same features as the web-app builder version? Losing kml support and the curated filter very much limits the usefulness of the widget for my organization.

that's because you are returning an entire feature (i.e row) not a specific value in that row. try changing: return InspectCB to return InspectCB['FACILITYID'] For the sake of learning - I would add: console(InspectCB) to line 4 then you can view the results in the console tab and see what it is doing

You can in fact create a form that references a feature layer collected in field maps: Select Feature services from "New Survey" in survey123 connect. Then you can make reports off of that particular feature service. Though, I generally create a view layer of the specific layer I need and point it at that. You also can't have spaces in the layer name. This isn't really documented anywhere by ESRI, but I have been successfully using this method to generate reports for field maps data for awhile now.

Here is how I would handle this scenario: Change name of the select_one question to "Indicator_Holding" Set the bind::esri:fieldType to "null". This tells survey123 to not submit data in this row. Change "IndicatorCollated" to "Indicator" Update any instances of ${Indicator} to ${Indicator_Holding} Results - Indicator field contains either the indicator holding or the indicator other value. no extra columns needed in the db. You could also set IndicatorOther esri field type to null, to further clean up the database.

I usually add as many columns as I need and have not had issues. I have some forms 3-4 years old with added columns for notes/changelog/etc. - all still working fine throughout many updates.

I would suggest looking through the Customize file names documentation. You could use the UUID in the form function to generate a unique one though. That would be similar to using the globalid. uuid() Returns a random UUID string. uuid()

Ah in that case - I would recommend editing the domain (choice list) for one or the other. For example, for common name field, you likely currently have something like this: American snowbell American snowbell Instead, have both the common name and scientific name in the description: American snowbell American snowbell (Styrax americanum) This way the user can type in either the common name or the scientific name to find a specific species.

This can be accomplished via the Decode function in a Calculated Expression. Here is how I do something similar (common name from scientific name). return Decode($feature["species_scientific"],"Andropogon glomeratus var. pumilus","Bush Bluestem","Jasminum polyanthum","White Jasmine","Passiflora tarminiana","Banana Poka","Rubus sieboldii","Molucca raspberry") Here are a couple articles may help: Configure the form—ArcGIS Field Maps | Documentation Common Calculated Expressions for ArcGIS Field Maps (esri.com) Logical functions | ArcGIS Arcade | ArcGIS Developers

You can read about the discrepancy you are experiencing here: Geometry functions | ArcGIS Arcade | ArcGIS Developers Feature geometries in the visualization and labeling profiles are generalized according to the view's scale resolution to improve drawing performance. Therefore, using a feature's geometry (i.e. $feature) as input to any geometry function in these contexts will return different results at each scale level. Other profiles, such as popup, provide the full resolution geometry.

Yes - the reordering would be done in map viewer classic if using a web-app builder app. Alternatively - you could set up an experience with a table widget, much easier to reorganizer there.
