Unfortunately the layer is not public. The symbology and labeling is something to consider though. The layer when published had a transparency on it and was labeled. Maybe I'll try republishing it without the transparency and with no labels and see how that goes.

My team and I have run into an issue where all the features of a service won't draw when using the full rest service of a map service. When I say full rest service I mean something like this: .../services/AdministrativeAreas/Home_Owners_Association/MapServer/0 (<-with the number at the end) When using the top tier rest service (.../services/AdministrativeAreas/Home_Owners_Association/MapServer) things draw perfectly fine but you get that weird grouping in the Table of Contents that is highly annoying. To avoid that issue we use the full rest service (with the number at the end) because it doesn't do that. But we have run into the issue of features not drawing. And this isn't just one service. It is almost all of them that we can see and not all of them have a ton of features. Like the homeowners associations for example only has 83 features and yet it still won't draw all of them with the full rest service. This is only happening with the map service. Both the top tier and full rest service of feature services work fine. This is also only a Portal issue. We have not seen this issue in ArcGIS Online. Has anyone else seen this issue and know what is happening? We are using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1

I've recently run into an issue where my subtypes in a related table are not working in Web App Builder. They work fine in Collector, but when trying to create records in Web App Builder they only half work. The subtype field itself seems to work (there is a drop down for it), but when you choose one the related fields that should change domains just populate to 'null' and don't produce any dropdowns. I know for subtypes on feature layers, you have to symbolize based on the subtype field for it to work. But a table doesn't have symbology. I've tried to set editing templates, but again, tables don't have editing templates. Is this just a limitation of Web App Builder? Or is there something I am missing? Update January 2021: I am still trying to find an answer to this question. Any help would be appreciated.

So I found the issue. We have a tool that creates ID automatically and I had forgotten to turn it off before renaming two feature classes this morning. So the tool was still looking for the old registry IDs and throwing errors.

When trying to run a compress this morning I got the following error: The first time I was trying to compress there were no versions and no connections. In other attempts to compress I had re-added all the versions and there were connections to the database and I got the same error. After doing a little research, I found that re-building indexes seemed to fix most errors people had when compressing. I tried to re-build indexes for the entire geodatabase and still got the error above when trying to compress. Is there anything else I can try? More information: It is a 10.5.1 geodatabase running on SQL Sever 2014.

Hi Derek, I think you answered my question. We are upgrading SQL Server itself. From 2014 to potentially 2019. My main concern is the compatibility with ArcGIS for Server. We have 2 installations of 10.5 which I'm not really concerned about I figure they will be fine. But then we also have 2 installations of 10.3 which are the ones I'm worried about. So I guess I should have just asked the direct question of, "Is ArcGIS for Server 10.3 compatible with SQL Server 2019?".

My department is is the process of upgrading our SQL Sever and I'm trying to make sure everything will be compatible afterwards. I found the help documentation below but am confused as to what 'ArcGIS' encompasses. Is that Desktop, is it the geodatabase, is it ArcGIS Enterprise, is it all of the above? I know how to assign domains. I can assign domains just fine on the Fields page of a feature class. That isn't my question. My question refers to assigning domains during the Create Feature Class process like you can do in ArcCatalog. I'm trying to figure out if Pro does this and it's just not working for me or if it doesn't do it at all and I need to do yet another step to assign domains.

The domains have already been created. I created them before starting the process of creating a feature class.

Within ArcCatalog when you are creating a new feature class you have the option to assign a domain to a field. When creating a feature class in ArcGIS Pro, you don't have that option. Am I missing something? Can you really not assign domains during the creation process in Pro? If so, why not? Further information: Both screenshots came from working on the same file geodatabase. The feature class I am trying to create is within a feature dataset. My version of ArcGIS Pro is 2.4.3.

I've recently been using Pro more and more just to get comfortable with. And there is a major quirk that I just discovered. In ArcMap, when you Select by Attribute and get unique values it will show you ALL values in that field. Even ones that aren't in the domain. This is highly handy as it's a quick way to see if there is incorrect data. In the image below, you can see that ArcMap shows two values ('ABS' and 'ASM') that are in the data but not in the domain. By comparison, Pro only shows you values that are in the domain. When looking at the list I would have no idea that those two values are in my data. And yes, I can build the SQL expression manually if I know the values are there, but what if I don't? Having the Select by Attribute list ALL values not matter if they were in the domain or not was VERY helpful and I wish that Pro would follow ArcMap's example.

Scenario: I have a layer symbolized by category in Pro. Is there a way to make only a certain category transparent? I know you can obviously make the entire layer transparent, but I need only one category more transparent. Is there a way in the symbology tab to make that happen? Or would I need to break off that category into it's own layer?

If I were working with small areas that would work fine. But what about large areas? Below is one of the HOAs that I have to create. It would be really cumbersome to have to go around the edge of that entire polygon and select the parcels that I need.
