Yes there is a way to limit the attribute table in a Map View to only those features that match the page query. In the attribute table, lower right you'll see a funnel to the right of the word "Filters" - click the funnel to activate the "Filter by Extent" command. This will filter the table by spatial extent,

Years ago, I downloaded railroad shapefiles for CO from 1873, 1879, 1895, 1913 and 2001. Not sure exactly where they came from as the metadata is very poor. If you're interested in them, I can zip them up and email them to you. Their very coarse spatially but give one the general idea.

Interesting - there is a solution here from this help article that may assist. Have you run the Remove Rasters from Mosaic Dataset GP tool (with the orphaned overviews selected)?

The DateOnly field is a new field type introduced in ArcGIS Pro version 3.2. In previous releases, the field is read as a Date date field type. For more information, refer to https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/3.2/get-started/whats-new-in-arcgis-pro.htm. DateOnly fields cannot be created in the shapefile format; thus, tools that export the table to that format raise an error. This error message is to be made more consistent in time, indicating that the reason the output table cannot be created is due to the unsupported field type for the output format. The workaround is save the output as a file geodatabase feature class instead of a shapefile.

One thing you could try on the single remote desktop that's experiencing this is a soft reset of the application. You can find the detailed steps here to accomplish this. Once the soft reset is complete, does it still move the Catalong Pane down and to the right?

What GP tool are you using? There is an Append Annotation Feature Class GP tool that you may wish to investigate.
