One route to consider - right click on the map frame and select properties. From there in the Map Frame properties, click the Placement tool (4th icon on the right in interface) and change the size to 8.5x11 for example. To snap it to the page, set two guide a 0, 11.5 and snap to guide. The layout snapping is located to the right of the scale box lower left of the application. Then your map frame is sized to the page and snapped to the page. Not a one click solution but works fairly quickly.

No but you set the Data Frame properties to show the units of one as you move your mouse around and in the Identify Window, click the really small drop down to the right of the units in the middle of the UI and change that to show different location units.

Brian - was your ArcGIS Pro license Offline when your computer shut down? If so, I'd recommend you reach out to Esri Support Services to see about resetting your license.

Update for Pro 2.1 - the bug lives on sadly in the latest iteration. For customers experiencing this issue, you may associate your Customer ID with the bug by calling Esri Support Services. With more customers added to the bug, perhaps it will be resolved sooner.

Something else to try - rename the ESRI folder in the C:\Users\<user profile>\AppData\Roaming and C:\Users\<user profile>\AppData\Local to ESRI_old. You'll lose any ArcMap customization you've done but it will reset ArcMap.

You could share your initial layout as a *.pagx layout file and add to your project again and again. Modify each layouts properties accordingly.

Insider "Pro" tip from Steve Lynch (Esri). Use the Copy Features GP tool in Pro and put in the complete coverage path including the geometry to import into a geodatabase and/or shapefile. Works like a charm! See the graphic below.
