Hi Suzanne, we held off upgrading our database from 10.9.1 to 11.3. I would suggest you upgrade yours to 10.9.1 so it's as close to 11 as possible. My team has yet to test the upgrade procedure so nothing to report back unfortunately. I'm hoping it won't break everything or there is a batch process to rectify broken layers map services.  ... Thanks, Marcelo. We have not upgraded yet but plan to in the near future. We're on SQL Server 2017 running SDE version 10.9.1 with Enterprise 11.3 (Server, Portal, Datastore, etc.). I was just concerned the process of upgrading was going to break everything. But by the sounds of it, it looks like the database links should not be broken. Curious about this, when you were sitting on the 10.x version of ArcSDE, your table names were something similar to "dbname.schemaname.layername" correct? Then when you went to 11.x, they all got changed to "schemaname.layername". When you opened your ArcGIS Pro documents which had references to the old database, were all the layer sources broken? We have hundreds of layers in our eGDB published to ArcGIS Server, and cannot fathom going through and republishing everything when we do the switch.  ... View more

Facing this issue as well. I delete my temp files every few weeks on the hosting servers but the same .msd files seem to come back. They have the same "date modified" dates too from when the server was first setup and configured in 2022. It has since been upgraded to 11.3 but the files always return and add up to something like 25GB. Very frustrating.  ... View more

@abureaux Yes, I have. I added a trigger event all over again and reconfigured everything but still failed to work. I isolated the issue to just the array and the attachments. I created a brand new workflow using the new designer and the updated modules in the new designer and it is working now. Very strange.  ... View more

We have people submitting multiple PDFs, images, zip files, etc. It worked until about 2 weeks ago but then suddenly started failing. Running into this issue as well. Upgrades Portal from 10.9.1 to 11.3 and suddenly the gallery content is not displaying. We used the "icon" in the appearance option in the Gallery Card that seems to work. However, we had nice thumbnails set up and would like to have the "Thumbnail" option working as soon as possible. Hi @EmmaG , I believe OP was referring to this: It's the actual Sign In page when you go to Portal Sign in. I was able to modify it as seen in the photo making some adjustments on the backend but it is very difficult and cumbersome. It would be great if ESRI provided an interface to do this, much like it has done for other aspects of Portal for customizing.  ... View more

Having a real tough time with this. No matter what i do, our SDE won't compress to state 1. It's always at 2 for the last year or so. We compress every week via a python script for the last 5-6 years.  The script puts sets the SDE not to accept new connections, disconnects all existing users/clears locks. Then runs the compress. After the compress, it rebuilds the indexes and does an analysis of the tables. Seems like the for last year or so, none of the deltas have been moving to the business table either on any later. Unfortunately, the only thing that worked for us was taking each machine out of the site, wiping the VM and reinitiating a new VM, then install ArcGIS 10.7.1, join the site again, and then upgrade that machine to 10.9.1. Having done that, we removed the other two machines, wiped them away, and re-initiated them, and installed 10.9.1, and then have them join the first machine and its now upgraded site.     ... Was able to resolve this by removing the default "Send an Email" operation and adding the Outlook operation "Send an email (V2)". This one works as it should. Hope that helps.  ... View more

Wondering if you're seeing this issue lately? It appears it's back for me in the last few weeks. Now my "flow checker" side bar says "Url of ArcGIS Enterprise is required". Adding new data connections and reestablishing  the connection doesn't seem to solve the issue either. Very frustrating. ... View more

Hi @TrevorNickolai , Is this still the only method to resolve this issue? Our domain name is a bit complicated and the users are having trouble with logging in. So eliminating the domain name from being entered in while logging into portal is a big bonus.  Thanks ... View more
