Hi Gayle, How did you copy the survey if the origional survey was not owned by you? If you are the owner of the survey, you should be able to make any changes or save the survey as another copy under your AGOL account log in. Try to create a testing survey with your own account and save the survey with changes without publishing to see if your account permission worked fine. If everything works as expected with new survey, it might be the problem with the survey you got from someone and we would need to know how you get the survey into your account to start with.

Hi Gayle, Are you connecting to AGOL or an enterprise portal? What web browser did you use? The questions should be saved if you click "Saved" button even the survey is not published. It might be some network connection issue with that problematic survey. Could you try another new survey with web designer and see if you could reproduce the issue? Or try other web browser and open the same survey to check.

Our Support team will assign an official enhancement number for your records. Hi Darina, What version of Connect are you using to publish? And what version of the enterprise portal you published to? Did you specify any default basemap with your survey? If it's possible, could you share the sample of your XLSForm with us to look into this issue further? It would also be helpful if you could provide us the information about the browsers you used with this problematic survey. Have you tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari and did you encounter the same issue with different browsers?

Hi Larry, The issue you are seeing that Survey123 passes code value but not label is by designed. However, you could try to use Arccade expression to workaround this. Hi Basilic, What version of the survey123 are you using to publish? Could you check the survey123 from the survey123 website>Survey_name>Settings>Version and see if you are using the latest version? I also noticed that you have French version of the form in your survey. Did the issue occur with French version or English version or both? I was not able to reproduce the undefined issue using the latest Survey123 Connect to publish thoguh. Could you confirm the version of the survey and also is the survey hosted on AGOL or an enterprise portal?

Hi Leif, How is the tag being maintaining? Are you using barcode scanner to scan the tag in the survey form? If that's the case, you could use the Inbox feature in the field app and specify the instance name as the tag number. With 3.10 field app, we now support to use barcode scanner to search the records within the inbox. In your case, if the tag can be maintained by the barcode, you could open the Inobx and scan the tag to search any existing tag records to know if the tag is being documented before.

Hi Doug, What version of the Connect that worked with the string "<=" in the label? I tried the previous versions of Connect and <= won't work as it was treated as part of HTML syntax in Connect. But if you use ≤ sign, this will work. Could you check what version of Connect did the string "<=" work for you? From my testing, ≤ sign has to be used in any version of Connect, otherwise, <= would be misinterpreted as part of HTML syntax.

Hi Stephanie, With the latest 3.10 version, we had improved the user log in experience and user permission checking. If the user does not have permission to the survey and logs in a shared device, they could see the previous surveys downloaded in the device but when they attempt to submit the survey, they will get a warning message with an insufficient permission to move on. Could you try the 3.10 version of field app from our EAC site with your workflow to see if the new version addresses your concern?

Hi Neal, We had addressed similar issue in 3.7. Did the same issue work in 3.7 but failed in 3.9? Could you try using 3.10 from our EAC site to see if the issue still persists with the latest build? If issue still persists, could you contact Esri Support to log an issue with the device you are having problem with? Hi Johanna, The issue you are encountering is a salesforce issue, which will be addressed in 3.10. The fix is available on https://survey123beta.arcgis.com which you could try to see if the same issue at your side is addressed. BUG-000130365 The Select_One question records the first choice clicked in a repeat, instead of the final choice selected.
