I think it would be helpful if you would show us the survey form that you used to create these entries. I am not very experienced in Experience Builder - where is the text coming from? What do you get there if you use a different layer?

You can combine the search appearance with autocomplete (even recommended here https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/dynamic-choice-lists-using-search-appearance/ba-p/1060838). In one of the comments I saw that you just put "autocomplete search(...)" as appearance. Is that what you need?

It looks to me like there are blanks around the expression. " otherAssessor " is not the same as "otherAssessor". And then the reports don't have an else option, they only execute if the expression is true and don't if not. If you need an else then as DougBrowning said, you need another if statement that covers the other options (!="otherAssessor"). Regarding the word issue: did you try this yet? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-resolve-the-problem-word-experienced-an-error-trying-to-open-the-file-when-opening-a-word-2007-2010-file-easy-fix-article-0903bb9b-d8e4-aabd-0364-f832d26ecff7

I think this post has almost all you need https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-repeats/ba-p/898041 - you might have to add some logic with ifs around the calculations. Sometimes it's helpful to add some calculate fields to check for the intermediate results. The SOIL_SURFACE question is the only required question in the repeat, right? This one you could use for counting the valid repeats so the first calculation could be count(${TOP_LAYER}) div count(${SOIL_SURFACE}) *100 Maybe you need to add round() to get readable numbers. For the percentage bare ground I would add a hidden field inside the repeat that populates based on if(${TOP_LAYER},'',${SOIL_SURFACE}) and then use count again on that new field (you could also do 0 if TOP_LAYER and 1 if not and then use the sum function). For the last one I am not 100% what you need to do but I think you will get there now.

Alternatively you can also use Feature Class to Shape File but you have less flexibility with the file name (which can also be helpful in some cases...)

'yes' is in this example the result for if the condition is true and 'no' the result if the condition is false. For the correct if statement it is relevant what you have in the name column of your choice option. If the label says 'Yes, I consent' but the name says only 'yes', then I would assume you would like something like if(selected(${Q1_consent}, 'yes') and selected(${Q2_incity}, 'yes'), 'Yes, I consent', 'No, I do not consent')

The "only one submission" option only works with user names (if anonymous submissions are not allowed) or through cookies for anonymous users (to my knowledge) so the form does not really care about email addresses if you use each time a different browser for example. You could use a pulldata query to check against the previous submissions and only allow to submit if the email address is not found. (That would require to configure your form in Survey123 Connect.)

I did some more testing with the two settings separately but both seem to be ignored. I also tried a different layer as mask, setting the cellSize as file and as number - no change 😞

Thanks for the hint and for including directly the code. Very helpful! Unfortunately considering the prints I still can't see why the output is wrong. Before my function the environment settings show cellSize: MAXOF and mask: None within my function it shows cellSize: 100 and mask: C:/data/2023/MINEMA_NECC/EWIS/EWIS.gdb/Country_boundary_TMRwanda which is as expected but not represented in the output. Any other idea?

Could you give some additional information to narrow down the issue: Was the survey created in the web form designer or Connect? Are you in ArcGIS Online or Enterprise? Does this happen to different forms or only this one?

I am testing a workflow in python (3.9) with a couple of raster calculations that require environment settings like the mask, output coordinate system and cellSize settings. While it respects the output coordinate system in one part of the script, it ignores the cellSize as well as the mask in the next function. When I am running the raster calculator tool in ArcGIS Pro with the environment settings I am getting the expected outcome. I tried using with arcpy.EnvManager(...) and setting arcpy.env.cellSize etc. but it seems to just ignore me. I also tried using ResetEnvironments() to make sure that it is not using other settings but no change. I tried giving the cellSize as a number (100) or as reference to a raster dataset. Also tried to run the script as script tool and neither from the script nor from the tool the environment settings seem to be honored. Syntax itself seems to be correct as I don't get any errors in pyScripter. Any idea? Happy to share them full script if someone wants to have a look... This is one of the calculations: with arcpy.EnvManager(cellSize=100):
raster2=[rainday,"C:/data/EWIS.gdb/land100"]
landslidealarm=RasterCalculator(
rasters=raster2,
input_names=["raster1","raster2"],
expression="raster1 * raster2"
)

It's also the first time that I see this. I believe if the CSV file does not have the name and label columns that you have to give the column name that has your choices in the name and label field in the choices sheet.

Hi Vicki, I am not sure if it really helps. But I have been doing some tests with svg and jpg files. I created some quite small svg files with 200x200 pixels - they are just recognizable in the form as they are vey simple (symbolizing a range of slope), when enlarging them they get a bit blurry. The jpg seemed with 600pixels width small enough (70KB) and still big enough to be crisp when enlarged. It might depend a bit on the end device that will be used for data collection. I tried with an iphone 13s.

Is SEWATCODE the name of the csv file? When using the search appearance, you must still include an entry on the choices worksheet, but instead of listing each of the choices, you will reference the field name from the existing feature layer or table. The way you configured your question at the moment it would look for the csv file called SEWATCODE and you would have a choice list in your choices sheet that is called SEWATCODE with the name and label field filled with the column name that you want to use to fill your choices.
