Katherine, You might be able to create a view of the database that has a query for a state. You could also merge the counties within ArcGIS Online, but it will consume credits and won't update as the layers update. As for Operations Dashboard, all the data has to be in one layer in order to display it in a "Details" element. All the dashboard elements seem to only accept one layer. Here are links to creating view and merging layers: Views in Database ArcGIS Online Merge Layers

If the web map has both the clustered events and events 2019 as separate layers, then it sounds like the pie chart is configured with the Events 2019 layer not the Clustered Events layer. Try creating a new pie chart using the data from the Clustered Events layer, then when you go to Add Target it should only show the Clustered Events layer.

When I go to Action --> Add Target within the pie chart, I only see my original point layer. I choose that layer to filter and the clusters filter for me. Even though you clustered your original point layer, the Events 2019 layer is all you need to select when trying to filter by selection on the pie chart.

No you don't have to create a feature service for a cluster layer. I created a clustered layer while in ArcOnline and was able to filter the cluster in Operations Dashboard. I haven't worked with heat map, but I would assume it would work.

Jonathan, I'm not sure if you can filter the data based on who is signed in and viewing the dashboard, but you can create a URL parameter that will filter the data. You would still have to match the correct URL parameter to the correct account manager, but then you can email the URL of the dashboard (with the URL parameter) to the account managers. This could still be a little time consuming, but much better than creating 130 different dashboards. Here are two links that explain how to create the URL parameter and set an action based on the parameter: URL Parameter Actions on URL Parameters Hope this helps. Michael

Maybe try using Statistic as the Reference Type instead of Feature. I'm using Operations Dashboard through ArcGIS Online and it is allowing me to use date fields as long as I use Statistic as the Value Type.

Amy, If you set a Reference value in the Indicator Data Options, then you can click Fields: {} in the Indicator Options and choose the Value - Reference {difference} option. This option will automatically update based on changes to the value or reference numbers. Michael

You can't change the color unless you change the theme (dark or light), but even then the dropdowns are only black for the dark theme or white for the light theme.

Check the dashboard's settings and under the General tab make sure Allow element re-size is turned off. Once that setting is off, view the dashboard outside of edit mode and the separating line should go away.

Natalee, I don't think that you can add a white border unless a segment of the bar graph is white, but even then only that segment will have a white border. You might be able to distinguish the segments by tweaking the Fill Opacity, Line Opacity, and Line Thickness. I've attached 2 screenshots showing the different opacity settings I used and the results of those settings. Hopefully this helps

I've created a slider (not a time slider) within my application and was wondering if it was possible to label the thumb. I used this Esri sandbox example to create the slider. In the Esri example, I would want to label the thumb with the selected population number. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance!

Randy, If you turn off the Parse Dates functionality, then Sort By option becomes available. There doesn't appear to be a way to sort categories with the Parse Dates functionality turn on.

Randy, On the Data tab, towards the bottom there is a "+ Sort" button where you can select a field to sort the serial chart. If you used Fields to create the serial chart then this option isn't available.

I was looking at different dashboard examples and liked this dashboard from the Vancouver Police Department. Does anybody know how they managed to make the active tab have an orange background without making all the elements of the active tab have an orange background? Also, is there a way to display the outlines of the elements without allowing the user to re-size the element? Thanks!
