This is a known issue with ArcGIS Dashboards, and other JSAPI 4x based applications. This will continue to work with ArcGIS Dashboards Classic (found in the app launder). You can contact Technical Support to be added to the bug and be notified when it is fixed.

Improvements were made to the configuration options for selectors in the Header Panel with the June 2021 release. @MarkCampbell_FortLauderdale Not sure I understand the issue, and feel free to send me a private message with a sample dashboard if preferred. Unselecting the last feature in an element that has a zoom action to the map, will return the map to the initial extent. In comparison with the pan action, unselecting the last feature the map does not adjust the map further. Also note that because the zoom action will adjust the scale and center the map on the selected feature(s), adding the pan action as well is not needed.

Is the map visible with the map viewer? There is a link in the top corner of map viewer classic to open with the new viewer if this is not the default setting for your organization.

Yes there was an update to ArcGIS Online and Dashboards last week. This blog post outlines some of the new features along with the details of the URL changes. You can still access and edit the dashboards you mentioned above with apps/opsdashboard if you first open the Dashboards Classic from the App Launcher (the nine dots beside your login) or using the saved URL that you have. As for the data sources not working when opening with apps/dashboards (now the default experience), this is known limit at the moment due to the use of a table nested in a map service as the element data source. Multiple teams are working on a resolution but this may take some time. You can continue to view and edit the dashboard with Dashboards Classic (as described above or through your saved url) . Another approach is to add the tables to a web map, add that web map to the dashboard and use the table from the map element as the data source for your other elements. You can stack your map underneath another element so it's not immediately visible in the dashboard, just be sure to maintain some minimal width and height to the map element.

And using the Shift key to select the upper date range is not working? First click the start date and then hold the shift key and click the end date. Then you can click outside the calendar to dismiss it when finished with the selection.

Is there any improvement if you open the webmap in new Map Viewer and turn the toggle ‘Show as List’ to the OFF position under the popup configuration for the layer?

Try changing the dashboard theme to dark. You may need to adjust some of the other color settings, such as the dashboard background color, to match or complement your custom colors you have selected for the side panel and other elements.

Hi Jeff, There was an update earlier this week so what you are seeing could be related to that as the default app that is used to open dashboards has changed. Don't worry you can still open your dashboard with what is now called Dashboards Classic. Details can be found near the bottom in this blog post. As for the data loading issues you are seeing, I gather that when the same map is viewed in the map viewer (not the classic one) the data loads without you moving the mouse? It would be helpful if you had a sample dashboard to share (you can direct message me), as things like the data source type, number of features, or the date selector configuration could be at play.

Yes things have changed with dashboards compared to dashboards classic. Good news though we are continuing to look at the selector design so there will be more improvements in this area coming in future releases. Until then, could consider changing the text colour for the header title which would also apply to the selector label to make it stand out more against the background. Depending on the background image size, perhaps some of the other placement options such as left, or center would adjust it enough to reduce the conflict with the selector.
