You keep sending messages to my twin... I don't get them. That just does the reset. Does it run from your shortcut? or did you make one? I don't use clones so I can't narrow that down as an issue

I use Spyder and haven't used ArcMap in years... just looking for possible checks.... I will cease then PS I do know that when I open a *.py it doesn't launch a new instance, but I use it as a text editor and not a python ide

Points raised on Beta . The big disappointment for me is sticking with 3.6, meaning 3.7 (or probably 3.8) won't roll out until next year. Lots of cool/new stuff in the latest incarnations.
