GraduatedColorsRenderer—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation which leaves the lower bound statement (Read and Write) A double that represents the minimum value of the symbolized classificationField to be displayed. Note: The value of the lowerBound should only be set to a value within the range of the first class break, otherwise it will fail. The maximum value gets modified in the last class break by changing the upperBound property.

Do the classes stay in place is you drop the aprx.save()? The code examples in the help use aprx.saveas or there is no saving.

on a side-related note... If you modifiy the query to narrow down the search you get "mystery " replies. In this example, I narrowed down a query which produce a 100 or more hits, to this and got 4 hits... apparently written in white text on a white background 😁 this has been ongoing for at least a month or two, so it may not be associated directly with the current issue.

other than experimenting with some of the other options which can remove points, the only other suggestion I would make is to convert to a raster, then back to a polygon with the 'simplified' option Raster to Polygon (Conversion)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation however deciding on the raster cell size would introduce as many dilemas as choosing the simplification methods geared towards vectors. Concave hulls, alpha shapes would be another route to go where you have some control as to what points to include in the resultant hull, but you would have to tinker with the offerings out there. For example Concave Hulls ... the elusive container - Esri Community

Package Manager—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation you can create any environment you want but the issue really depends on whether you want arcpy (hence arcgisscripting) or the arcgis module to work in that environment. Also, the version of python is pinned to work with arcpy (currently python 3.11.x). esri cautions about using pip to install packages if there is an equivalent version from conda channels Package Manager—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation This provides a list of third party libraries that you can install if they already aren't Available third-party Python libraries—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation so check it first since your package may be on esri's channel. From within conda, install from the 'defaults' channel first before trying 'conda-forge', and pip last. If you want to create your own environment, you don't need to clone if you don't want to work with/or need arcpy or tools from arctoolbox (for example I currently run python 3.12, numpy 2.2.2 etc separately from the arcgispro-py3 environment)

To set a model variable as a parameter, the model must be edited in ModelBuilder. In ModelBuilder, right-click the variable and select Parameter. When a variable is set as a parameter, the letter P appears next to the variable in the model.
