I have had issues with other components of ArcGIS, specifically Server, where I installed SQL server native client after ArcGIS Server was installed and it wouldn't let me create a data store connection. I had to completely reinstall Server to fix this. I wonder if the same could be said about Desktop. I would try reinstalling ArcGIS Desktop to see if it would fix the issue. Also, I have been told repairing operations only replaces DLL files and such and may not fix the issue. -Steven

I'm not sure you will be able to do much about this. The way the geocoder works is as such. You're road data has ranges on both sides of the road say 2-10 (valid addresses being 2, 4, 6 ,8, 10) and 1-9 (valid addresses being 1, 3, 5, 7, 9). If you have an address like 4 North Main St the geocoder will find the percentage along the centerline on the correct side. In the example I stated it would put the address point 33% along the side of the road with address ranges 2-10. Does this make sense? You would have to modify your road centerline data to reflect the exact values that addresses are capable of being along the centerline. This can be a very cumbersome task because a lot of ranges are theoretical. If you have parcels for each plot, you could use the tool polygon to point. This will create a point in the geographic center of your polygon. This may be a faster way to create address points. -Steven

Portal requires a separate license. It comes with Server 10.3. There should be a Web GIS option in my.esri. It doesn't appear from your screen shot that you have permissions to access it. I would check with your my.esri administrator (who ever has highest permissions) and see if it shows on theirs. -Steven

We are using v10.3.1. I didn't even try one record at a time. That does seem to work. Multiple records would be ideal. Steven

If you write a bunch of errors to the reviewer table that are from a geodatabase table, you can't select the related rows from the original table. Not sure if this is a bug? -Steven

What you could do is create the point file on your desktop version of the software and upload that information to be used on ArcGIS Online. -Steven

Strange that the directions would find the correct address while the geocoder didn't. It appears you are logged into ArcGIS Online, correct? To see what geocoder you are using in ArcGIS Online, go to your portal and login, Click My Organization, Edit Settings, Utility Services. To remedy it, it would be best to build your own locator service but you would also need ArcGIS Server to publish it. I'm not sure if you can upload an address locator to ArcGIS Online or not. It doesn't seem to give me an option to load a local geocoder.

Did you use Esri's World Geocoder? I'm guessing that it couldn't find the street addresses for those 7 points so it defaulted to the City. Are all those points in the center of Shippensburg, PA? -Steven

Because this is a world geocoding service, county is probably referred to as Region or SubRegion in the geocoder. I can't find the help document for the service. If I find it, I will post it. -Steven

Yes you should be able to. Just don't put any address information finer than county level. Example: Douglas County, KS. Do note that it will most likely put every point that has the same county in the center of the county and on top of each other. -Steven

You will need some type of reference data such as a road centerline file with address ranges. Once you have a source data file you can follow these instructions. If all these points are in the same county or counties, it might be your best bet to see if your local county or city GIS department has those layers. That would be your most accurate data. They like to strip information out when they send data to a data repository. ArcGIS Help 10.1 Steven.
