ArcGIS Web AppBuilder allows users to edit the Attributes of an app, such as the logo, title, subtitle, and links. The ability to include text or links at the bottom of the map near the map source information would be useful. The use case is when data sources require crediting on the map and when placing this information in the About widget does not satisfy that requirement. The ability to include additional source information near the existing map source information would be very useful.

Hi all, I've missed a step or a particular piece of the configuration while setting up the Parcel Drafter for Local Government solution using Web AppBuilder Dev. Edition. I loaded the required schema for parcel drafter lines and parcel drafter parcels into our enterprise GIS and included these in an AGS service with Feature Access enabled. I added these two layers (FeatureServer) and an additional Tax Parcel layer (MapServer) to the web map. I've configured the Parcel Drafter widget with these layers, with snapping on all 3 of the layers. When entering a new traverse, the misclose is not calculated, and when I save a traverse I get the error "The entered parcel is not closed, do you still want to proceed and save only parcel lines?" However, my traverse end point is snapped to the starting point, so I have a complete polygon. Has anyone experienced this issue and what can be done to resolve this? Like I mentioned, this is probably a simple misconfiguration on my end and any help is always appreciated. Thanks all, Kyle

Hi Devin, In the simplest case, there is a relationship class between a feature class and a table. In ArcMap, add the feature class and set up a definition query on that layer. The definition query filters features where the foreign key in a related table equals the primary key in the feature class AND any other queries. To use multiple symbol styles, we found that the same layer had to be added for each style of symbol and then the definition query filtered the features based on what we wanted to symbolize. Then publish a service. For retaining old data when a new event occurs, these are just some ideas that I would consider: the definition query could filter based on a more recent date OR create an attribute field that serves as an event identifier and include these in any definition query. I confess that this method is not the prettiest and is only a workaround. We have not tested with the latest versions of ArcGIS Server, and I imagine one day this more advanced definition query could be parsed out. Kyle

Hi Courtney, Is there any update on this Warning? I receive the same warning: Warning: This dataset comes from an item that points to more than one layer. For Open Data, we recommend that items reference individual layers. For three datasets (each layer referenced individually) in a service. Thanks, Courtney! Kyle

Thanks Tobias, I did get this to work. It's odd, my intuition tells me that tables would be sorted through configuring the table pop-up settings rather than the related point layer. Thank you for your help! Kyle

Is there a way to determine the default ordering when viewing a feature's related records in an ArcGIS Online web map? The case is that when in Collector viewing a feature's related table, we want to sort the related records by a date field. In the web map pop-up configuration it has a setting to sort based on a field, but when opening this setting for the table, the resulting sort field options are from the feature class and not the table itself.

We have set up the Residential Comp Finder solution but we want to disable the ability to use GeoEnrichment. We have already disabled the ability to get community reports. Now, how can we change the configuration so that no reports can be downloaded and no enrichment information is shown when a property is searched and selected? We want to disable the blue Download button as well as the use of GeoEnrichment info under the Neighborhood Information heading.

Hi Andrew, The use would be to share the annotation feature class and download it as annotation. I've only heard about cases where annotation was exported to shapefile using ArcGIS for Desktop and the label text was contained in an attribute field. I am unsure if this shapefile can then be converted back to annotation. Here is the annotation service link. Mapbook/Racine_Anno (MapServer) The desire is to download annotation for the area of interest, and since FGDB is not an available option to contain the anno, I can only theorize being able to download a polygon SHP with anno in an attribute field. This is an extremely specific use case.

We managed to fix the issue by going to AGO Assistant, clicking I wannt to... > View an Item's JSON. We selected the web application and edited the Data section. Under the "id": "widgets_MyLocation_Widget_10", section, we added the following lines immediately after the line reading "version": "1.4", "config": { "locateButton": { "geolocationOptions": { "timeout": 15000 }, "highlightLocation": true, "scale": 1000, "useTracking": true } } So now it looks like this We saved this update, cleared the browser data on our iPad device, and the My Location button appears to be working now without error or reloading the page.

Response from Esri: We currently do not support Annotation Feature Classes as Open Data. All datasets shared as open data are accessible as CSV, KML, SHP, and GeoJSON. Annotation represents label placement in the map.
