Our local government clients are still experiencing this issue with their users (i.e., the user will download a dataset and it's not the most recent, updated dataset). The idea of firing up the FTP sites again has been thrown around at these organizations unless this gets resolved soon.

Yes. The users will click a location on the map and then see a popup. The desire is for the popup to include a hyperlink to a GeoForm and place the marker in the GeoForm based on the location the user clicked in the original map.

Hi all, My question is how can I pass the URL for a marker in a web map into another ArcGIS Online app. Scenario: Using Information Lookup to show service locations (polygon). The user clicks a location on the map and views the concatenated popups from the service polygon layers. The popup also needs to include a hyperlink to a GeoForm for Service Request so that when the GeoForm opens the marker is placed on the appropriate location on the map. How can I configure a this hyperlink using location information about the marker location? Thanks all! Kyle

I'm experiencing odd behavior in the Web AppBuilder Basemap Gallery widget. Here is a breakdown of the situation. The ArcGIS Online organization has a group setup that contains the Esri vector basemaps (web maps). This group's web maps (the vector basemaps) are configured to show in the organization's Basemap Gallery (done through Organization > Edit Settings > Map > Basemap Gallery setting). A web map was created that uses the Topographic map by Esri as the basemap (Item ID = 588f0e0acc514c11bc7c898fed9fc651). The web map was shared to create a Web AppBuilder app, and the Basemap Gallery widget was configured with the option to "Configure custom basemaps". Five of the web maps (basemaps) were imported from the "Organization default", and the Basemap Gallery widget configuration was saved. ISSUE: When opening the Basemap Gallery widget, six basemap options appear. In the screenshot below, none of the options have been chosen yet. The map is still displaying the basemap setup in the web map. ISSUE: When the Topographic basemap option is selected, the map displays what appears to be the basemaps hillshade layer but not the reference layer. ISSUE: When the second Topographic options is selected (the one I do not believe should be there because it is displaying the thumbnail for the web map being used in this app), the map displays what appears to be the correct basemap. I have configured this widget many times before, and have observed this behavior only recently, and in one other Web AppBuilder app that I've configured. Below is the Basemap Gallery widget configuration used. Have any others discovered this behavior? What can be done to fix the configuration of the app (or the web map basemap or the organization basemap group)? Am I overlooking a piece involved in this? Is this a bug introduced in a recent update to Web AppBuilder, and if so, is there a workaround and will the issue be resolved in an upcoming update? I've included URLs to the content below. Web Map - https://mahnomencountymn.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=32194229ad994e72af526036e849ee53 Web AppBuilder app - https://mahnomencountymn.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=374e6dba7090419092bea8e28869fd07 Organization basemaps group - https://mahnomencountymn.maps.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=f00a75d8b6d549868cbe8ef92988be25#overview This is not an urgent issue, but more of a nuisance. It will be helpful to know if there is currently a workaround or resolution to it. Thanks Community! Kyle

Is there documentation that lists the accepted formats for entering Bearings, Length, and Radius using the Parcel Drafter widget? The issue users encounter is the Invalid Bearing, Invalid, Length, or Invalid Radius warning when entering values. The question users ask is, "What are the acceptable formats for entering this information?" This is my question, too. I cannot find any documentation that lists the accepted formats. Is this documentation available or can it be made available? Dramatic reenactment below... Help me, I don't know how to be valid! How was I supposed to know I needed to type values like this? Thanks so much all, and Happy Monday!

According to the Esri documentation (Query widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS ), the Web AppBuilder Query widget can be configured to query a related table and highlight the related features on the map and list them in the Query panel. So far, the results are listed in the Query panel, but the related features are not highlighted on the map. The data is setup where a polygon feature class has a related table, and the widget is configured to query the related table. Are there any requirements on how the data is setup, the widget configured, or otherwise that I may be missing? Or perhaps I am misunderstanding what the widget is capable of doing. I'm looking for some enlightenment on this. Documentation: Alternatively, if the query is performed on a related table, all the related features are highlighted on the map and listed in the Query panel.

Hi James, I hope this is the REST JSON to which you are referring. I know this feature class does not contact GlobalIDs, and that is something I will include. Hi all, I have followed the instructions in the documentation (Use Survey123 with existing feature services—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS ) to use Survey123 with an existing feature service published on ArcGIS Server 10.4.1 but with little success. I am attempting to Generate a Survey from a Feature Service. I have published a very simple point layer with two attributes (string, no domain) and secured it in ArcGIS Server Manager by creating a security Role and a User with the appropriate role permissions. I registered this secure service as an item in the AGO organization and saved the AGS User credentials. In Survey123 Connect, I have chosen to create a new survey, selected from a Feature Service, and chosen the secured service that I registered in AGO. The survey is created and published without issue. I downloaded the form onto Survey123 for Windows and started collecting a new survey. When I attempt to submit the survey, I get the following: Send Error This survey was not able to be sent due to the following error: Code 400 Unable to complete operation. Has anyone encountered and resolved this issue? What is the cause? What is the solution? Is there specific documentation, step-by-step, that exists describing how to generate a survey from a feature service using ArcGIS Online and a non-federated AGS, from start to finish? Thanks all!

ArcGIS Web AppBuilder allows users to edit the Attributes of an app, such as the logo, title, subtitle, and links. The ability to include text or links at the bottom of the map near the map source information would be useful. The use case is when data sources require crediting on the map and when placing this information in the About widget does not satisfy that requirement. The ability to include additional source information near the existing map source information would be very useful.
