Dan, thanks for your quick response. You're absolutely right, I need to reclassify a raster. Unfortunately the values are incorrect in the raster. For some reason there are some random values from -32000 to 0. Can I reclassify all negative values as -1 and then have a raster values from 0-3460?

I'm using the field calculator to reclassify a raster table. My goal is to reclassify all negative values to zero, and keep all other original values. See attached photo. I'm running the following block of code: def Reclass(corrected_value): if Value <= 0: return 0 elif Value >= 1: return Value followed by: Reclass( !corrected_value!) Executing the code returns no errors, but values remain as NULL after processing. What gives?

Thomas, I did see that, it seems to be useful for updating services at specific intervals. One of my jobs is to publish features services, and also republish them when they are updated. Unfortunately, they are updated whenever the various organisations decide to do so. For example, a city published data 6 months ago, and the recently updated the FS. Their update removed a few records, and also removed a field. I think this means that I cannot update the same FS, because the fields have changed. I'm not quite sure though, it's very complicated to me.

Seems to me the process for overwriting a feature layer in AGOL is quite difficult and picky. See the attached photos for all the requirements. My goal is to preserve the description, view count, rating, metadata of feature layers that are often updated. As far as I understand, if Feature Layer data table column has been edited in anyway, an overwrite is not possible. For example my city hosts a feature layer that contains information about parking lots, their location, operating hours, and pricing. The city recently updated this feature layer and removed the pricing field, rendering an update impossible. Is it likely, or even possible, that in the near future overwriting feature layers will be easier to manage? I'm also trying to figure out a way to best manage data so I can update all my feature layers as quickly as possible. I can't be the only one! I've also tried to update my FS from ArcDesktop, but when I get to the overwrite wizard, I do the following: Share as Service --> Overwrite an existing service, select outdated dataset --> (A warning box pops up, see attachment) --> I click yes....warning box disappears, then nothing happens. thanks for reading

Gregory L'Azou: Note that Map Tour load images when you open the application as a user, so we have see quite a lot of user displaying fresh image Liven up your map tours using “real-time” data | ArcGIS Blog users get the latest image they open the Tour but if it change after it won't be refreshed. Note that videos and web pages will be refreshed every time you navigate to the point. I dont quite understand your point that I have in bold. So If I manually add points with real time URLs to a story map, it will update only when the tour is opened? i'm starting to think I should remake the map with a table with URLs and XY data instead of doing int manually.

Thanks for your input, Gregory. One further question, do story maps refresh the media URL every time they are opened? I want to show several points made up of live video streams and photo streams in a story map (Map Tour in particular). In my test map, live photo streams aren't refreshing, is that on my end or is that just how story maps work?

I have a few questions pertaining to how a user can perform analyses in AGOL Do users types have the same rights to perform analysis? Are there specific types of layers that can and cannot be processed? (WFS?) Are credits used when these analysis tools are used?

I would like to configure a pie chart to match the symbology of a point layer in my dashboard. It looks like the only options are 10 flippable palettes. Is it likely that in the future these widgets will be fully configurable?

Hypothetical Scenario: I like to fly kites, and I want to create a map that shows me when and where there are perfect kite flying conditions based on several live weather services already published in AGOL. If I have a WMS with point data about wind speed, precipitation, and cloud cover, is it possible to interpolate and create a feature service showing where all my perfect conditions are? Similar to a weighted overlay in ArcDesktop? And to even take it a step farther, is it possible to automate this task so everyday I can wake up to a map in AGOL showing me where the best kite flying conditions are? Thanks for reading

Thanks for your quick response Jake, I did a quick find (commas) and replace (periods) and reran everything. I think I broke it even more. Check out the attached photo. Also attached is the xls with the original data because I think it might make this easier to help. The goal is to get this xls data as a shapefile or layer in the web mercator projection. I set the dataframe to web mercator, projected the data to web mercator, but what about the map units?

Hi I have an xls with georeferenced points. I need to get the xls to arc desktop but i cannot get the points to be represented correctly. They are in the Atlantic ocean and they should be in Europe. Does anyone recognize these coordinates and help me figure out which map unit and coordinate system to get it projected correctly? Also could the problem be that the data was recorded with comma separators (euro style) and it is looking for periods? Attached is the example of referenced points.
