I am experiencing the same issue with a multi-site GIS server configuration with no Web Adaptor. The only difference is that I am publishing a Geolocator service. 001170 : The reduced study area polygon is too small for analysis. @Esri

What is the recommended workflow when upgrading @ArcGIS for Server from 10.2 to 10.3 for a multi-machine setup configuration? Do I need to uninstall 10.2 or will the setup.exe will recognize an earlier version and proceed to upgrade it? @Esri

Here it is the current setup: Mail configuration for our internal SMTP in Config.json file (See attached pictures) Setup a couple of alerts for ArcGIS Server service to alert when service is down (instance number is 0) and configured the notification system to email me when an alerts happens but never get any emails. Need a way to make sure the mail configuration is working and where it’s failing to send alerts. Every time I enter a new notification and email in the application and go back to it, the email disappears like it was never added, but when I check the database it’s adding them to it so it should work but maybe that has something to do with it. Check pictures for setup. Thanks, Ernesto @Esri

It is my understanding that Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS can be hosted in your own server. What are the requirements to accomplish this? Can I have ArcGIS Online public account instead of a subscription? Do I need ArcGIS for Server?

@esri @EsriSuptInfo Hi, I like to confirm the following. I understand that it is required an ArcGIS Online subscription to use the Web App Builder. I also know that you can either hosted in Esri’s cloud or in your own cloud/server/premises. If I choose the second option, do I require a subscription to log-in, view/use the application? Can I just use the subscription to create the application, then download the related application files and hosted in my server without requiring a subscription?

Thanks Jeff…really appreciated for your help. I still can get why it works when executed from the canvas and/or model dialog but not when exported to python. I will definitely look into this and implement your suggestion within my code. The reason I want to automate this is because it’s for a production sever with limited access. The people who are going to be executing the tools are not GIS power users and want I want to make their life easier. Again, thanks for your assistance regarding this matter. Hopefully, someone from Esri reads this thread and dig into the issue in order to implement the proper fixes. Kind regards. - EC
