I have a question regarding 'Scale Text' in Pro. In ArcMap, I made several layouts for a project I work on and I always had a little reference box which would dynamically updated the scale for me (i.e. 1 inch = 500ft) see screen capture. I am now transitioning to ArcPro and I am having difficulty getting the same functionality. I understand 'Scale Text' is now under the 'Dynamic Text Ribbon' but I cannot figure out how to dynamically adjust to the scale of my layout. I have followed some of the white papers but I am not seeing the 'Options' it is referring to in the elements tab. Could someone please help! Thanks

Hello All, I am trying to create a very simple and editable Web App using Web App Builder via my ArcGIS Online Organizational Account; however, I am having difficulty figuring out how to make the feature editable. I have a point feature and I want to allow users to place a point where activity "X" is taking place. I initially created the Web Map in Pro and created the Web App from that Web Map. I added the 'Smart Editor' widget(see attachment) but it is not allowing me to make my feature editable. I am I missing something here? All comments and input would be appreciated.

I figured it out. 1. I need to make the NULL value equal to zero 2. I had to select all the records. Thanks for the reply

I have a table with over 4000 records and I would like to sum across three different field to get a cumulative score.I have attempted this multiple times in the past but I have been unsuccessful, does anyone know how to perform this function? I have attached an example table, I would like to sum the three fields in red to the 'Final_Score' field. Thanks

Hello, I am trying to find a function that was in ArcMap in ArcPro. In ArcMap, there is the ability to right-click a layer > properties and then select the Symbology tab. Then on the left hand side of window there is a choice for 'Quantities.' In the 'Quantities' window there is a 'Classification' box that allows you to break a field say into "X" number of classes. Does anyone know where this function appears in Arc Pro? Thanks

Hello all, I was wondering if you need to have Portal installed to utilize the Web AppBuilder Develope Edition? I am wanting to utilize some custom widgets and it is my understanding that Web AppBuilder Developer Edition is required for this??? Thanks

Hello, everyone I using Web AppBuilder for the first time and I was wondering if there is a way to have the layers off by default? I have several layers and I dont want them to all be on when a user first encounters the map. Thanks

Rachel, I am thinking this is a Pro issue, although, I was able to do share to a Web Map just last Friday (3/15). I was able to share a map package from ArcMap (not sure how you share Web Map from ArcMap?)? I have tried several different files types and folders when sharing from Pro and it just "hangs" in the queuing stage. Chad

Rachel, Something isn't right. I have tried share a much smaller Web Map, 1-2 layers, and I am still stuck on queueing. I also tried to share just a single Web Layer and I am having the same issue. Just last week when I was experimenting with this same process the Web Map was sharing nearly instantaneously. Do you have any solutions in mind? FYI, I am on my works network which is pretty robust so.. Chad

So I have created a map in Pro and I have about 20-25 layers. I am wanting to Share this map as a Web Map with my organization on ArcGIS Online. When I go to the 'Share' tab and select 'Web Map' everything works smoothly. I analyze my map and the only warnings I get are that my layers do not have feature template. After that I select who I am going to share my map with I hit 'Share' button. After this the progress bar simply states "Queueing.' It has been stuck like this for over an hour, is this normal? Do I have too many layers? Doing something else wrong? Appreciate any feedback!

You said the adminstrator had to approve something for the Story Map to be shared, what do they need to approve? Some type of permissions approval?

Ok. How exactly would the administrator go about "approving" those images? I appreciate your replys, they are helping me get to the bottom of this.

Owen, Thank you for the reply. How do I go about sharing scenes, images, maps and layers that are used in my story map? I am not seeing that option anywhere. I used some images that were stored on my hard drive, do I need to upload them to ArcGIS Online too? Chad
