@jcarlson and @KenBuja both those worked thank you! I'm going with @jcarlson due to it's simplicity. Thank you both again!

I am doing a Cityworks and Problem Reporter (AGOL) integration. I have set up two-way communication between both services but when a comment is added in Cityworks it populates the comment field in the public feature layer of Problem Reporter with a lot of extra information that is not needed. If I need to add a new field, Comments_public for example, I'm okay with that. I would like for only the actual comment to show up in the comment field instead of listing the employee, date and time as it is showing currently. I was able to do the above in excel using the formula: =RIGHT(A2,LEN(A2)-SEARCH(":",A2)-9) However, I have yet to figured out a way to do it using Arcade. I found a formula that got me close (shown below) but unfortunately I got everything up to the first " :" (By Lukas, Ari 1/11/2022 3) instead. var array = Split($feature.StaffComments, ":"); if (Count(array) ==2) { return Trim(array[1]); } else { return Trim(array[0]); } Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I am interested in this as well. Has there been any progress towards this capability? Thanks, Ari

Hello Jennifer, I realize this is quite an old post but I was wondering if you ever got Problem Reporter and Cityworks to work together and create Service Requests? Best, Ari

We have a federated server with our portal and on several occasions have shared features to our AGOL account by storing credentials when shared. Just make sure to check box that says "stores credentials"

I have just created my first route in ArcGIS Pro using Vehicle Routing Problem tool within the Network extension. The route will be used by meter readers and contains roughly 2500 'stops' (they will not be actually stopping but driving by). Upon examination of the routes and sequence of the stops I noticed that some locations out in the county that have long driveways are out of sequence. The tool appears to want to place them in sequence order with stops on the roads behind them as opposed to the road that has access to the location's driveways. In the screen shot below I have shown an example of locations that should be sequentially numbered but are not. I am trying to determine the best way to change these location's sequence numbers so that they make more sense. I realize I could simply change their sequence number to be in the correct order but unless I changed every sequence number for each stop after those I changed, I would end up with duplicate numbers. I'm guessing having duplicate sequence numbers would mess with the routing...? Short of creating my own dataset and adding the long driveways to the route, what would be the quickest and easiest way to fix these records? Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, This is my first experience with the Vehicle Routing Problem extension. I am working with it in ArcGIS Pro 2.8.1 I am trying to create routes for our meter readers for each billing cycle; a total of 6 cycles with roughly 25,400 stops. I am using home address points with an associated utility service as input for orders in the VRP extension. The smallest cycle has 2,500 stops and the largest has roughly 6,200 (in downtown area). The meter readers can easily read 1100+ records in a day, especially in downtown as they only need to drive by the location in order to read the meter. I would like to have one route for each cycle and depending on how far they get that day they can simply pick up where they left off the next day and continue on the route. When I input 2,500 in Max Order Count then tried to run the solve for routing I received an error: VRP Solver failed due to invalid input; Route has a MaxOrderCount value greater than one thousand. I went back, used 1000 as max order count and broke up into three capacities. The only problem with that is the tool assumes there are 3 trucks going simultaneously and there doesn't seem to be any connection between route1A, route1B, etc. With all that said I am trying to decide best course of action. Is there a way to increase the allowed MaxOrderCount? Would it be better to create initial route with only 1000 max order count used then use last location as the 'Depot' for the next route and create multiple VRP datasets for each cycle and combine all at end to create one cohesive route? Or is there a much easier, straightforward method that I am missing? Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I saw that earlier, which would work for the initial work flow but i wanted a way to have the id automatically added when a new asset is created. Sorry should have been more specific.

For the moment they just need to be super basic. Start at 1 and go up from there. The type of field i am trying to add numbers to is a long integer.

I am trying to generate unique ids with the Attribute Assistant in ArcMap 10.6 for several features in our water and waste water system. I was able to successfully do this with features that did not contain any subtypes; not so much with features that did have Subtypes. I have not been receiving any error messages but I also am not seeing anything appear in the AssetID field. For the example below I am trying to generate unique id for the feature wControlValve GenerateID table Sequence Name: wControlValveID Sequence Counter: 95 Interval Value: 1 Dynamic Value Table Table name: wControlValve|* Field Name: Asset_ID Value Method: GENERATE_ID ValueInfo: wContralValveID|{1}|[SEQ]|True On Create: True any help would be greatly appreciated

I have experienced this issue as well. Have you made any progress in fixing this? I have been testing Field Maps using Enterprise 10.6.1 on an ipad for some of our Utilities ; Natural Gas to be specific. When I bring up the Gas map one of our line features (Service Lines) fails to load. When I go to share the error it comes up as Error 3079: Domain already exists. What is interesting when I reload the map it doesn't always occur on the same layer, occasionally this error appears for Distribution Lines; service and distribution lines each have a field called "material" that use same domain as materials used are same for both. NOTE: We are using the exact same map in Collector for ArcGIS with no issues so I am not sure what is causing this error to occur. Our layers are being referenced via a federated server.

I am working on using the Nearby configurable app on AGOL with a layer view from Tracker. There are no issues using this web app on desktop or mobile as long as I input the address or manually drop a pin on the map. The problem I am running into is when I open app on a mobile device (currently testing with Iphone 12) and immediately go to search an address and choose "find by my location." Every time I do this I get a message that says No features found that meet the search criteria. However, when I look at map there is pin on my current location which displays my correct address location and there is clearly a feature within the search radius. When I manually put a pin on my current location or put in an address only then will a feature be returned in the results window. Is anyone else encountering this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We are getting ready to implement Tracker for ArcGIS to our AGOL account. One aspect we will be using tracker for is to track members of our police force. We would want to be able to send additional resources to an officer if something were to happen and the officer in question was unable to be reached on their radio. Is there a way to determine the exact address at a user's Last Known Location, either through an address layer or geocoder, in Track Viewer?

I came across this issue (which appears to be a known problem) when trying to create a Survey123 form for our city's fire department to conduct Hydrant Inspections. They requested I replicate the paper form that they have been using for years as closely as I could into a digital format; enter Survey123. However, I'm sure as many of you know when I tried to tie the form to my hydrant layer I received the dreaded error message: supports ApplyEditsWithGlobleID must be true. After some back and forth with Esri support we determined that this was due to my data being versioned. Due to multiple people in fire department, as well as water department interacting with hydrants, all work needs to be QA/QC to make sure connectivity remains in place as well as other general edits appearing correct, un-versioning data is not an option for our organization. Editing versioned data is not an issue with Collector. It would be fantastic if this could carry over to Survey123. Having the ability to edit fields in versioned data from a form rather than going through collector allows those folks who have little to no knowledge of GIS to still edit data in the field.
