I am running a script on 2 different machines, both using the same ArcGIS Pro license. Machine #1 is using ArcGIS Pro v2.7.3, while machine #2 is using ArcGIS Pro v2.9.0. The script works just fine in v2.7.3, but in v2.9.0, it throws the error: 'GPEnvironment' object has no attribute 'extent'. There are several places in the script where I'm specifying environment settings, and it throws this GPEnvironment error at each. What could I be missing here?

It wouldn't feel very reliable, but I guess one could pull the info from the License log file, located at: %LOCALAPPDATA%\ESRI_Licensing\Logs\License.log I would hope a better way exists for a non-admin.

Hmm, I'm not an admin in the Org, so this is unavailable to me. Guess I assumed this would be pretty simple, since its a checkbox on the user's end, but I'm not having much luck finding it.

Using ArcPy, or maybe the ArcGIS API, is there any way to determine if the user's ArcGIS Pro license is authorized to work offline?

In my experience, ArcPy seems to perform better with selecting features from very large feature services, compared to making feature queries via the ArcGIS API. With that, I have a script that performs a series of ArcPy feature selections using feature layer URLs and an area of interest feature class, like this: selection = arcpy.SelectLayerByLocation_management(fl_url, overlap_type="INTERSECT", select_features=aoi_fc) Problem is, I want to perform these selections using services hosted in an ArcGIS Online Organization that differs from my Licensing Portal Organization. I have an ArcGIS Online account with the desired organization, so I'm able to establish a connection via the ArcGIS API, but ArcPy access seems to be tied to a user's ArcGIS Pro license, not the API connection. Is there a way I can use ArcPy to select features from a service not housed within my Licensing Portal's Organization?

That was it! There are a few fonts that significantly improve the spacing issue. Do you happen to know what font the TOC is? I thought maybe it was Arial, but that seems to be off by just a hair.

I don't understand what you mean by this. I'm using Python for what it's worth.

I have a script that generates a legend field in my feature class. The resulting field values are spaced exactly how I want them to display, and they look great in both the attribute table, and in the Map's layer list (below image, left). However, when I create a legend for the layer, the legend's spacing seems to be different, so things can start to look sloppy and shift around (below image, right). It would seem that legends use differently sized spaces compared to the attribute field/layer list. Is there any way to force it to look exactly like it does in the attribute table/layer list?

I'm looking to replicate a web map's switch for "Enable offline mode" via ArcGIS Python API, but am not having much luck figuring out how. All I can find are options for managing actual offline areas, which I do not want to do. Seems like this should be a simple option: Additionally, I'm also wanting to change the "Offline: Advanced Options". I found this documentation, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. When I submit a dictionary key and value, as shown below, all I get is "TypeError: 'dict' object is not callable". Am I doing something wrong? webmap_obj.offline_areas.offline_properties({"download":"features"})

Here you go. The first image shows the GDB from within the Catalog Pane. While the second image shows the resulting service that is published by uploading this GDB to ArcGIS Online. There are no unexpected characters in the names of the GDB, or the feature classes. 1) 2)

When publishing a service via GDB upload, I assumed feature layer order was determined by the alphanumeric sorting of GDB feature class names, but this does not seem to be the case. My GDB has 3 feature classes, a Point, and two Polygon feature classes. They are named: "A" (Point) "B" (Polygon) "C" (Polygon) When I upload the GDB to publish the service, the resulting layers are in B-C-A order. I want them to be in A-B-C order. How do I do that?
