Hi @SheldonBina2 Sorry for the delay. The support for vertical datum transformations is something we hope to implement in the second half of 2021 within ArcGIS Field Maps. Thank you -Kevin

Hi @MatthewKing , When it comes to the configuration of the Collection settings within Field Maps, generally these are driven per the workflow being performed in the field. For example, some organizations may require averaging to be enabled at a certain amount of positions, or they require a minimum level of required accuracy to be achieved by the GNSS receiver before being able to capture features, etc. - Were there any specific questions you had regarding these Collection settings for the TDC600? - Would you be able to share some information regarding your workflow being done in the field? Thank you -Kevin

Hi @Peters_Amy Thank you for the feedback. When it comes to working with smart forms and using the current Map Viewer, upon opening the map you should receive a notification indicating that the map contains certain functionality that's not supported by that version of the map viewer. In this case the smart form configuration is not supported by the current Map Viewer and, as a result, will be removed upon saving. Therefore this is expected behavior for the current Map Viewer, and what I am trying to determine based off previous reports is why/how for certain situations the form is also getting removed after re-saving through the Map Viewer Beta (MVB). The form information should remain upon saving in the MVB, and indeed it does in general, however I am trying to understand the situations when it doesn't. If you've seen this happen using the MVB, then I would like to understand the workflow you did there and try to replicate on my end. On a side note, if you have already configured a smart form for a web map and would like to make a copy of that map, you should be able to perform a Save As using the MVB and not the current map viewer and the form should be retained. Thank you -Kevin

Hi @edatdcamm I just wanted to follow-up to see if you'd been able to test what I suggested above by resaving the map to see if the ability to edit in Field Maps changes? In general, when saving a web map that supports editing, certain keywords are added into the web map's JSON. One of the keywords being `Data Editing` that other apps including Field Maps use to allow the user to edit. The fact that that keyword wasn't written for that map despite the fact that you can edit in ArcGIS Online is the strange behavior. Therefore this is why I am suggesting resaving and disable/reenable editing in the map to trigger that keyword to get written as a test. Thanks -Kevin

Hi @kmsmikrud Would it be possible for you to share a copy of a map, that has a form already created, that I can test with to try and reproduce this behavior? So far I've tried editing maps in the MVB that have smart forms built but I cannot seem to reproduce the clearing of the form as easily as you can. Therefore perhaps it has to do with the map itself as oppose to a general problem. If so, please share with the ArcGISFieldMaps user in a group. Also, if you can share a quick video of the editing done in the MVB and then how the form is removed through Field Maps (web application) that would be very helpful as well in trying to narrow this behavior down. Thank you for your help on this. -Kevin

Thank you @Anonymous User for that information. The problem doesn't actually appear to be with Field Maps but rather the feature service(s) itself for the Timber Point/Line. If you were to view the JSON for those layers and scroll about midway down to the "types" section, you will notice that all of the types listed here are what's accessible in Field Maps when creating new features and has the same missing values. The "types" generally refer to the unique values specified with the symbology renderer. These types also include the editing templates which are what gets displayed in Field Maps when tapping the Collect + tool to capture a new feature. Therefore in general, the templates listed in Field Maps should match the templates listed in the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer when choosing Edit. For the Timber Point layer between the Map Viewer and the feature service itself, these are the missing "types" - Timber and logging good - Timber and logging bad - Directional felling - Winching required - Tractor ground - Skyline ground - Special measures area I am curious if inside the Map Viewer you chose the option for 'Save Layer' for the Timber Points layer if it would update the JSON of the feature service to include those new/missing types? Same for the Timber Lines layer? Once we can confirm that the JSON lists all the correct "types", you should be able to see the templates correctly in Field Maps when creating new features. Thanks -Kevin

Hi @edatdcamm Do you have other maps that this issue happens with as well or just this one? As a quick test, in the map you shared with me, try disabling editing on the layer through the Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online > save the map > enable editing again > save again. Does this make a difference? Thank you -Kevin
