I haven't tried creating domains through the JSON approach myself, only with the Pro Solutions Deployment Tool. I have modified existing domains via JSON and that worked, so I'm guessing you could add the domain tag if you are *real careful* when entering the code.

Yes it does seem to affect Pro 2.1 as well, I saw the crash in Pro 2.0 and then thought perhaps the upgrade would help. It did not, same crash in 2.1.

The workaround I came up with for my case was to use Hosted Feature Layer Views -- set up views with queries for the dates before, on and after. Then symbolize each view appropriately. This did the trick for me.

Same question here. I think it may be due to lack of support in the current version of Collector for some "smart mapping" (or "advanced symbology") settings. I had a similar problem when I tried to symbolize a date field as "before, on and after" a particular date. It looked fine in the AGOL web map and apps but was a gray dot in Collector. It seems like the new Aurora Project Collector might be able to support it. The beta is out now, but I haven't tried it.

I could be wrong but it sounds like Jonathan is trying to upload the annotation layer to become a hosted ArcGIS Online feature service, which is not currently supported in AGOL (that I am aware of). Annotation does work in WAB / AGOL web map if it comes from an ArcGIS Enterprise service (hosted locally or in the cloud).

It looks like you can use the "Solutions Deployment Tool" add-in for Pro. I was able to use the "Configure an ArcGIS Solution" option to add a domain to a field where one did not exist. I'd be curious to find out if there is another way to do it (other than editing the JSON).

Here's another good read about pagination: Error: Pagination is not supported, it shows you where to look in the REST service to see if pagination is supported. It should work for you if you upload to AGOL - I was able to get it to work with our data. Another reason to (hopefully) upgrade SQL soon.

What is the version of the DBMS for your Server 10.3.1? According to Diana in this blog (scroll down to discussion), it must support pagination for clustering to work. I also tried clustering with my feature services and they don't work (I believe) because I am still running SQL Server 2008 R2. This version of SQL doesn't appear to support pagination.

It is in the downloadable Solutions Deployment Tool add-in for Pro. After you install the add-in appropriate for your version of Pro, it becomes a new button called "ArcGIS Solutions" under the Share menu. Once you click the button, "Configure an ArcGIS Solution" lets you change domain values. Hopefully some day this functionality will be built-in to Pro (and/or AGOL) directly.

Interesting, I also noticed this problem yesterday in the WAB hosted version on AGOL. I thought I was just setting up the query wrong .

I attempted a similar thing and also ran into problems. I don't think table joins work from ArcGIS Server map services in AGOL. The 2 options I was able to get working were: 1) Create a geodatabase spatial view and/or 2) permanently append the attributes into a single feature class (create and then regularly update a publication layer).
