The style looks fine to me with the one shared to the group. It has the correct typeKeywords for point lines and polygons. This is how I added in https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/a-new-way-to-add-web-styles-in-map-viewer

Can you share the web style and desktop style into a group(invite russell_jsapi) or publicly. If the style has already been added into a custom group to drive the web style gallery or the adhoc add it directly in map viewer for lines or polygons then the style does not need to be added again for points.

Not sure why Pro would be blocking this case. Make sure you are publishing the web style as 2D and not 3D type.

It would be a point symbol layer using a picture marker in the polygons you mentioned above to have that symbol appear there. You could then cook this as a vector tile package to tile layer if you needed and use it as a base map layer. If you were trying to change the background of the entire map to be an image that is not supported and you can only change the background color.

These blogs outlines the steps for creating the web style and using it in Map Viewer https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/use-published-2d-symbols-in-arcgis-online https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/a-new-way-to-add-web-styles-in-map-viewer

We support uploading SVGs for point symbols when using the symbol styler on point features. We currently do not have a symbol building experience where you could add or swap out individual symbol layers for your symbol styling. If you publish the final symbol as a web style you will be able to use it in Map Viewer to style your polygons with that SVG.

This was a change from a deconfliction strategy project. We are working on exposing a static and none deconfliction mode within the labeling experience and detecting label deconfliction between duplicated/repeated layers. We are working on automatic placement for polygons so if you zoom into one quadrant of the polygon where the center is not visible the label will dynamically fit into. Other placement options are on the roadmap but this previous one mentioned is one we are hoping to get into this upcoming release as well. Stacked labels are not on our immediate roadmap but if you have samples of where you want to use these this helps us as we dive into discussions on feature priority. Thanks!

We are looking into improving this behavior for the upcoming release. As a workaround could you use a group layer with exclusive visibility and then the viewers of the map would toggle through those overlapping layers to see the layer and label that matches them.

This wont be possible in a feature layer but you could create a group layer in Map Viewer and save that group layer along with sub groups/layers into a group layer item. This post might help walk through some of the steps https://community.esri.com/t5/telecommunications-videos/tgi5-episode-118-group-layer-items/m-p/1638766#M184

Are you able to share the map and we can take a look. The labeling in a polygon is fixed to the centroid of the shape and then you could use the offset to place the label within a certain offset of the centroid. You can share the map and layers into a group and invite russell_jsapi if its not public

The use compatible symbols will downgrade those symbols which will lose the markers along the hatches and give you a symbol line when opening the layer item or web map in Map Viewer. If you have a web map showing the issue and you can share would help identify any issues.

When working with a map image layer (adding it by URL at the MapServer endpoint) will have the labels returned by the map image layer as an image from the service to map viewer. There might be something you are configuring on the map image layer that is failing to return from the service. If you add the layer by the specific layer like MapServer/1 this will handle the map image layer as a feature layer and the labels are no longer returned by the service but are handled my client app which in this case would be Map Viewer.

This is not possible with the out of the box web map configuration. In the popup you can do zoom to which would zoom to the individual features. You can also set the scale threshold when you zoom past a set scale the clustering will be disabled and individual features will be displayed. The app you are viewing is a non out of the box application using leaflet to perform that zoom and expand cluster action.

Did you consider using data pipelines to run on a schedule to update the field to change the counts? We don't support using featuresets to handle rendering between two layers because this would require that expression to run on every map interaction to run the expression.
