Make sure your maps have an editable feature service. This feature service can be hosted in ArcGIS Online or coming from an ArcGIS Server. Then you can log back into the app or refresh the map gallery in the app. Russ ... View more

Are you using a samsung device? We have a known issue with the camera app crashing on samsung devices but has been fixed with their 4.3 update. If you try using another camera app like Camera MX instead of the stock camera app try and see if this solves the issue for you. Thanks Russ ... View more

Are you using your own custom basemap or one of the ArcGIS Online basemaps? the AGOL basemaps will only go down to level 16 or 19 depending on the basemap you are using.  If you need to go down further I would recommend you swap out the AGOL basemap with one of your own map services. You might need to copy that feature class into your SDE before publishing up an editable feature service to your ArcGIS Server. Or you could make a Service Definition file and add that your "My Content" in the Portal for ArcGIS and that can create a hosted service if you have the portal configured in that way.
