Did you pull to refresh your map gallery when you are logged into the Collector app? Are you creating the map in arcgis.com or explorer.arcgis.com? Thanks Russ

Nope this release does not support predefined queries. It does support custom geocoders for searching which you can setup in Portal for ArcGIS. Russ

To make an editable feature service you can create one using ArcGIS Desktop and publish up a feature service with a variation of Add/Update/Delete. Or you create a hosted feature service when you sign into your Organization account and then under My Content > Add Item and you can choose a csv, shp or .sd file type. and this will create a hosted service in AGOL for you. You can also use Create Service under My Content and it will copy the template from an existing feature service. For the hosted feature services you can change the edit properties by going to the hosted item detail page and clicking on the edit button. At the bottom of the page you will see the options for changing the editing capabilities and enabling editor tracking and ownership controls. Once you have these editable service you add this to your arcgis.com web map. You will know you have the editable service in your map when the Edit button appears in the top toolbar. Then you should just need to click save and the map should then show up in the Collector app when you login. If you are already logged into the iOS Collector app you can pull to refresh your map gallery. In Android there is a dedicated fresh button. Hope this helps you out. Russ

In the upcoming update we will have support for GPS streaming and is something that may fit your requirements. You will be able to collect a line feature with your GPS at a set time interval. This is something the user will need to enable when they start to collect a line where the location tracking is something that gets initiated when the map is opened with the tracking layer. Russ

The Collector app only supports tracking with point features. You could take the collected points into Desktop as a local copy and run the GP tool Points to Line and then publish up a hosted service if you needed the data in a web map. http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00170000003s000000 Russ

Which versions of the iPhone and iPad are you using and are you using iOS 7 are you using 7, 7.02,7.03 . I can't repro this with iPhone 5 running iOS 7.03. We do have an update coming out very soon with iOS 7 support. Hopefully the issue will not be reproducible with the update. Russ

There could be an issue with the map JSON that is causing the map to fail to load. Can you re-save the map in explorer.arcgis.com? I did a quick test and re-saved a copy of the map under my account mobileios called Apps -Cold War Atlas F Missile Silo Sites and it is loading without any issues. Let me know if this works out for you. Russ

Are you using a AGOL hosted service or a ArcGIS Server service? If it is a hosted service and the service is shared to a group or its private the username will show up in the editor tracking fields. If you are using an ArcGIS Server service you will need to token secure it and set up a user & role for that will be applied against the service. When you open up the map you will have to authenticate against that layer and the user you do that with will show up in the Editor Tracking fields. Cheers Russ

The placement of the point could be off if the GPS is being enabled at a cold start. In our upcoming update there is a setting that will allow you to set the accuracy level required to collect at the device location. So if your GPS has poor accuracy the app will not drop a point until the GPS accuracy improves to the set accuracy value. What kind of projects are you using the Collector app on? Russ
