Here is a work around that should work; 1) in AGOL create a copy of the map that is showing the error - So just open up the map causing the issue and do Save As - MapName-Copy 2) Refresh map gallery in collector to pull down this new map 3) Open up the MapName-Copy in a connected mode 4) Exit map and go to the map with unsynced edits and tap the sync icon This should create that username/pwd that you need for syncing the edits back. The feature service does not have editing enabled and is why the map isnt showing up in the collector. You will need to go to service detail page and click edit and scroll down to the bottom and you will see the editing capabilities you can enable on the service. Once you do pick the editing capabilities you will need to save those changes and then resave the map and refresh the map gallery in the app. Cheers Russ ... View more

If you were signed into the app before the map was created you can pull to refresh on the map gallery and on Android you can use the overflow button and tap refresh and that will pull down any new maps as well. The app will only show content you own or that has been shared to your account through a group. If the map is still not showing up share it will me and I can take a look to see what the issue is. This issue has been fixed in the upcoming 10.2.3 update of the Collector app. Can you try signing out and signing back in and trying to sync those edits? We keep track of the edits in the database so signing out wont lose any of your unsynced edits. Thanks Russ ... View more

Yup if you want to autofill values off of a feature you pick to collect then you would use subtypes and domains to have that option. If you do not want to auto-populate a feature you will use just domains set in the GDB and then associate that domain to the correct fields in the feature class before publishing up the service.
