Are you use Esri basemaps? If so are you using the services.arcgisonline.com url for the basemap or tiledbasemaps.arcgis.com? Thanks Russ

After you restart the app by force closing it through the application manager and relaunch the app try to download a new map and post a screen shot of the Choose a Basemap screen. I would like to see what could be showing up there. Thanks Russ

Yes the manage section is only for removing and viewing the content that is downloaded/sidloaded content. You can use this basemap you see under manage when you go to download a new map you can choose this WaterUtils basemap and it will be used to help you pick out the extent of data you want to take offline and then it will be associated to that downloaded map. Did you put it into the Collector basemap folder or into the ArcGIS_Collector folder? You will also have to restart the app and when you go to download a new map you will have the option to Choose an existing basemap or you can download a new basemap which will be coming from the web maps basemap. Are you using your own basemap or the AGOL default basemaps? Can you also try to create a replica from the REST endpoint of the service to see that it generates one correctly. Thanks Russ

You can embed a set of credentials on a token secured service by going through My Content > Add Item. Then you can add the feature service URL and the dialog will update to ask you if you want to save credentials on that layer and not prompt the users of the service or have it prompt always. Then add it to the web map, save it and when you open it up in the app you shouldn't see a prompt if configured that way. Russ

Currently there is no way for you to set up different symbols for different levels. If you are only viewing this in a connected mode I would say you could copy the layer and give the copied layer a different renderer and a set scale visibility. Offline does not support this right now so if you are going to use this and try to download the map it will probably fail to download. Russ

When you configure the attributes for the popup and you are using iOS you need to enable just the edit check boxes for it to show up in the editing popup. Russ

Where are you seeing the download fail? Is your map 100% compliant with being downloadable i.e has only 10.2.2 ArcGIS Server services with sync or export tiles enabled or you have hosted feature services with sync enabled? Russ

Once sync is enabled on a hosted feature service it cannot be disabled. So if you are seeing it greyed out it is already enabled. Are you seeing an issue in AGOL or in Collector? Thanks Russ

So the issue with signing in and being signed out could be do to the device having some very low connection and not being fully disconnected and it is trying to sign in after being shutdown(manually or by the OS) which will have you sign back in to renew your session. We are working on improving this and hopefully end the main issue you are running into. To work around this try signing in when you are in a connected environment and going into airplane mode and you should be able to launch the app and not be prompted to sign back in or hang at signing back in. Regarding the crash you can grab the logs on your device and send them to me and we can investigate that issue. You can see my reply in this thread which outlines the steps to take to grab those crash logs. http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/106687-Offline-map-use-can-download-to-device-but-then-cannot-access-in-field Let me know if you have any other comments and questions. If you are seeing a crash you and private message me the crash logs and we can look into the issue. To retrieve a crash log follow these steps: 1. Sync with iTunes Crash logs are transferred to iTunes whenever you sync your device. Plug in your device, and launch iTunes to complete the sync. 2. Open any Windows Explorer Window (My Computer, My Documents, etc.) Enter %appdata%, and press enter Navigate to Roaming > Apple computer > Logs > CrashReporter > Mobile Device > *Device Name*. (Note: your device name appears in iTunes on the left side, under 'Devices') You should see a CRASH file that starts with Collector_ You can open up that crash file in text editor and copy and paste that info into a private message to me. Thanks Russ

Yup this issue is fixed in our upcoming 10.2.3 update. Attachments taken in a disconnected map will have .jpg with the attachment. This update should be coming out very soon. Russ
