I created a duplicate version of your map in the group and I changed the symbols for the layers at the web map layer. I noticed an improvement on the time it take for the pick list to collect a new feature to popup and the scrolling on that list improved with the quick changes to renderers I made at the map level. You can check it out on your devices the map is called RendererChange. Let me know if it works for you and I can help walk you through the changes I made at the web map. Russ

We do show different options so if the downloaded map is going to be deleted there are options to delete features only or features and basemap. We also block deleting any basemaps that are being used by another map or if the basemap is being used by another account. I can see the lag when trying to collect a feature. We have an issue logged for this bug we are seeing with the slow response and the lag when you scroll the template picker. I do not have an exact update date for you but I can update this thread when I know the date of the next update when we have this fixed.

Best way to do this is to create a group, invite Collector4ArcGIS into that group, share the maps and services into that group and just post the name of the group and the map into this thread and I can take a look at it.

I don't think that would cause the issue. If you can enable debug logging on your server or look at the network requests when you try to add you might be able to determine the issue. Russ

You cannot take dynamic map services offline. Right now you can only take tiled map services with export enabled or feature services with full editing and sync enabled. You can disable the editing on the feature service layer at the web map level and that will prevent the layer from being editable in the app. Hope this helps Russ

Are you using hosted or your on-premise server? Are you able to collect in AGOL? If you try in AGOL - collect a feature and refresh your browser page and see if the feature still exists or see if it made it back into your SDE. This will help us determine where the issue is. Thanks Russ

If you are using a barcode scanner like the one in the blog you could setup in your map feature search on your layers and have it run against the barcode field. When you open the map up in Collector you can run a search and choose the scanner option on the keyboard and that would grab that string and run it against your configured feature search and locate the feature where you can view it on the map, view its details or edit it. I have not done much research into QR code scanners on iOS but I am looking into a keyboard option for Android and seeing if the same workflow mentioned above will work with that.
