Am I missing something here? When I goto Manage in Collector on my Android device, I am not seeing any of the downloaded maps? I'm not sure if this is a result of the recent update, or the result of me testing a side-loaded tile package basemap? When I goto to Manage > Basemaps, I can see the downloaded basemaps, but Manage > Maps is empty... Anybody experiencing this? Warren

Hi Kerry, Seth, Sorry for the delayed response. The configuration described above seemed to work fine in a connected environment. It was only in a disconnected environment that the GUIDs for the relates were not getting populated properly. I am still working with ESRI tech support on this, and they provided some additional information for me to test, but I've been swamped and haven't been able to get to it yet. I'm heading out of town for next week, so it likely won't be until the following week before I can adjust my test environment with the info provided. I will report back when I have more info. Warren Here is some details I provided to ESRI: Just reporting back on this with some updated information as I finally had some time to look into this further, and here's is what I have and what I've found. Feature Class A (GlobalIDs) Feature Class B (GlobalIDs) RelatedTable (GUID & GlobalIDs) GlobalIDs were required as well on the RelatedTable to be able to publish the service and enable Sync Relationship Class A = Feature Class A > RelatedTable (FC A GlobalID to GUID) Relationship Class B = Feature Class B > RelatedTable (FC B GlobalID to GUID) The relationships work perfectly in ArcMap and in Collector when connected. However, when disconnected the sync process is not generating the GUIDs in the RelatedTable so the records end up being orphaned the RelatedTable.

Hello all, I'm creating a column chart based on related data and the chart is being generated fine and you can hover over the columns and see the column value. I have tried setting a date field to the Label Field but it is not showing the date. If I set the Label Field to be one of the Has anyone else come across this where it won't display a date field? I have also tested this further and it seems to display a text field fine, but an integer field also failed to display... Some screen captures to show the setup/config: Related data fields: Chart configuration: And here is a screen cap of the popup:

Thanks for the response Ron, The keys are GlobalIDs. I'll try re-creating a test scenario and see if the same thing happens. Warren

Has anyone else experienced any issues with Collector on ipad not functioning the same when offline as the same map on an Android device? I have a map that allows users to collect point features and related data to those points. Everything functions fine on both devices when they are connected. In disconnected mode however, the ipad users are experiencing issues where it is not retaining the related data. This works fine on the Android tablet. Warren

Hello all, In ArcMap I have configured an HTML popup that calls a URL with a querystring value from a field value. This allows me to display a chart within the popup and it works fantastic. Is there an equivalent method to accomplish this in ArcGIS Pro? Some way to have the URL evaluated and display the contents of the URL? Yes, I am aware of the Chart functionality in the Configure Popup panel in Pro, but that is not what I want. There just isn't enough control over the chart layout for what I need, and I already have a custom page defined for my chart so I would like to consume that. Thanks. Warren M

Thanks for the reply Miaogeng, I should have been more clear that I am using the ESRI basemaps, World Imagery to be more specific. As such, I have found no way to create a Tile Packes of this to load onto the devices. Warren

I have a map that I want users to be able to take offline. The problem is, this map has multiple locations scattered across a state and I want to be able to zoom in a far as possible at each site. We cannot rely on a connection to be able to download each area while onsite. I've determined that I can zoom to each site and download the detail for that area in Collector, and then choose not to remove the basemap when 'un-syncing' so it remains on the device. But this is very tedious to have to do this for each site, and then not knowing which basemap is for each location as they just get named World_Imagery, World_Imagery_1, World_Imagery_2, etc. I imagine you could go in and rename each of these folder names to something more meaningful, but again, quite tedious. Is there a solution to this situation? You can't generate Tile Packages of ESRI's basemaps so I'm not sure how to solve this... Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated. Warren M

Hello all, I have map with a single point FC (FC_a) and a related table (TBL_a). The relationship class is based on GlobalIds, archiving is enabled, and I am able to edit and add new related records in Collector when connected. TBL_a also has another relationship class associated with it. When I download the map and take it offline and perform edits, I can add new related records and it looks like Collector is doing things properly as I can see the new record when I goto to 'View' the related data. However, when I sync the data it appears the record is getting written to the table, but it's not assigning the realted GlobalId so the record is basically orphaned. Any ideas what might be happening here would be greatly appreciated? In addition, I have this working perfectly in another schema, and the only difference is that there are 2 FCs related to the single table. Maybe this isn't supported in Collector? Well, so close, but so far... All was looking very good. I tested the data in desktop, everything worked great. Built an AGOL map and opened in Collector, added a new related record to a feature, perfect. Tried to download the map and take it offline, not so good. The following message appeared: The map failed to download The map 'map name' failed to download with the message: Failed to create replica. Multiple layers are referencing a dataset, which is not supported. So it appears the offline capabilities do not currently support this. Can anybody else confirm this?

Hello all, I have a point feature class (FC_a) and a table (TBL_a) participating in a relationship class. The relationship is a 1:M relationship where a single point in FC_a relates to multiple records in TBL_a. The relationship is setup using GlobalIDs so that we can enable offline data collection with Collector and this is working perfect, and it's great to be able to collect related data offline! I have another feature class (FC_b) that contains subtlety different point information, but, it requires the exact same related data. My question is, can I simply create another relationship class between FC_b and TBL_a? Because the relationships are based on GlobalIDs, I'm thinking this should be possible? I'm going to setup a test environment to test this out but thought I would ask the question... Thanks for any insight/suggestions. Warren

I could be wrong, but I don't believe there is any 'file' that is uploaded during a sync. Simply put, Collector (and the local GDB), is managing/tracking what has changed since the last sync. When you Sync, only the changes since the last sync are synchronized/written to the server GDB. The local GDB will continue to grow until you remove it from the device. I hope this adds some clarification. Warren M

After further investigation, I think this is an issue with this particular MXD I Imported, or maybe an issue with the Map Import function. I started another blank project and used Import Layout, instead of Import Map, and the Dynamic Text commands are working as expected in this project. Warren

Is the Dynamic Text functionality 'fully baked' yet in Pro? I have found very few of the tags that actually work? Screen capture #1 shows the list of Dynamic Text and evens shows the appropriate value, ie Credits property. But as you can see in screen cap #2, when this is inserted the actual value is blank. This is the case with many of the tags I've tried, but I'm wondering if this is an artifact of importing a MXD project? Warren
