Hi, I have been on ArcGIS Server 10.1 for about six months and have been able to login to Server Manager to check the log messages in Mozilla Firefox or IE. I got an automatic request to upgrade my desktop Firefox to version 25. I allowed this. Now I can't log on to ArcGIS Server Manager in Firefox. Thankfully I can still login in IE. Any ideas? I have tried using the Web Adaptor address and the local ArcGIS Server's server address and can't get past the signon on either way. When I hit the browser back button a couple times it takes me back to the signon screen. It shows the button to Logoff then, as if I am logged in. But of course I can't go anywhere from the login screen. It displays the Please Wait... symbol as it is in the hanging status. Thanks, Janie

I have also had this happen on Topo. But as you said, most the time it is on Oceans. Janie

Median Household Income amounts at the state level are missing when displaying the State Demographic popup. The FlexViewer is pointing to fields ending in CY_12 that are not the name of the fields on the feature layer. Many of the fields listed in the chartfields, in red, are not even in the record. This results in the chart not displaying on the state popup as well. So which is wrong - the popup or the rest service feature layer? See Attached with everything shown.

Hi, Is anyone else getting the black box popup on page load for Oceans basemap occasionally? I get this here at work and home occasionally. Map Manager Oceans layer failed to load: Fault code: 400 Fault info: Unable to complete operation. Fault details: Service 'Ocean_Basemap' of type 'MapServer' does not exist or is inaccessible. This is on 10.1 Server with FlexViewer 3.0 Thanks, Janie

Hi Chad, All of my production Flex Viewers version 3.0 are blowing up when the users try to print. I get the Server.Error.Request error. faultDetail="Error: [IOErrorEvent type="ioError" bubbles=false cancelable=false eventPhase=2 text="Error #2032"]. Hi, We just migrated from Server 10.0 to Server 10.1 (Advanced version SDE SQL 2008 R2). We are going to go ahead and migrate to Server 10.2. Which online class do you recommend since we are already on 10.1? Migrating to ArcGIS 10.2 for Server http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.courseDetail&CourseID=50130703_10.x OR ArcGIS for Server: Site Configuration and Administration 10.2 http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.courseDetail&CourseID=50131096_10.x It looks like from the class description that the Migrating class is mostly for installations currently on 9.3. Since we have already learned about and use the Web Adaptor, would it be better to take the Site Config and Admin class? My last class was on 9.3. Thanks, Janie

The only thing we have hit so far on Flex Viewer 2.5 running against ArcGIS Server 10.1 is related to security. When we secured a web service, the Flex Viewer 2.5 application presented the black box about the web service layer not being available. My Flex Viewer 3.0 presented the sign on box for the secured layer. Just an FYI that you will need to upgrade to at least Flex Viewer 3.0, if you want to start securing your web services. Here is the link to a free ESRI one hour presentation on setting up your security on your web services, users, and roles. Security Basics in 10.1: http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.webCourseDetail&courseID=2596 Hope this helps! Janie

I wanted to congratulate Robert as well. There have been many times Robert has helped us out. We were stuck until Robert told us how to fix the problems via the forum. We use many of his widgets as well. Robert has united us into an extremely helpful FLEX and GIS community. Thanks again and congratulations Robert! Janie

Hi Tom, Our Web Adaptor is on our Enterprise Server. The ArcGIS Server is of course on another internal server. About once a month, our network folks reset the network. That used to cause all the services to go to unstarted status on ArcGIS Server 10.0. Do you think this would cause the problem? Thanks, Janie

Hi Tom, I didn't know the web adaptor was Java. But we didn't shutdown ArcGIS Server yesterday to our knowledge. So how often can we expect this to happen? Any idea as to when 10.2 comes out? Thanks, Janie

Hi, We have been up on 10.1 for one week with everything running just fine. This morning the web services were all locked. They had all been unlocked. I'm not sure what would cause everything to be locked. There was one error in the log stating that we had reached the maximum number of connections to our instance. The information I found said we had too many connection to the gdb on the ArcSDE 10.0. We had created two additional web services late yesterday afternoon. I had to change the web services all to public again and everything worked just fine now. I also couldn't see my rest services without logging in. My server setup: ArcGIS for Server 10.1 sp1 ArcGIS for Desktop 10.1 Windows 2008 R2 Web Adapter installed with Admin access through web adapter enabled (no shared key configured) Cross domain policy installed. The database was successfully added to the Data Store. The Authentication Tier is GIS Server. Token settings are at the defaults of 60 minutes and 1 day for long. Anyone have an idea why this would happen? Thanks, Janie
