Hi @ThomasSmithNG, We have a fix that we expect will be included in the next Survey123 Early Adopter Community update, which will likely happen in the next few weeks. Hi @TariqAlhammadi, The custom palette only supports setting a color as the fill symbol. The reference tab of the custom palette (attached) shows the supported fill symbols. Support for pattern fill symbols isn't currently a planned enhancement, but you may want to submit the idea in ArcGIS Ideas so interest in the feature can be tracked. Thank you, -Barbara

Hi @AlexaTodd, When the where clause is created with a function like concat() it doesn't need to be wrapped in double quotes since the output is already a string. The extra quotes were being included in the feature layer request and causing issues. I tried this calculation for the layer_json1 calculation and am seeing the query run successfully.: pulldata("@layer", "getRecord", "https://services2.arcgis.com/McQ0OlIABe29rJJy/arcgis/rest/services/SurveyExampleLayer/FeatureServer/0", concat('sharps_box_globalid=', "'",${BarcodeID},"'")) Thanks, -Barbara

@SEMARNAT The Lines and Polygons sample survey in Connect (also attached) has a couple examples of calculating geoshapes. You would append additional coordinate pairs with a semicolon to calculate the geoshape.

Hi @SEMARNAT, You can do this in the XLSForm by creating a calculation based on the coordinate fields. Geopoint questions accept a space-separated set of latitude and longitude values in decimal degrees. The Geopoint defaults and calculations sections of the Survey123 documentation have more information on the accepted coordinate format. I attached an example XLSForm with the calculation. This example uses decimal questions. If you wanted to use text questions in your calculation, you would also want to convert the question values from text to a number in the calculation by applying a number() function to each question. You could also search for coordinates in the search bar once the geopoint question is opened. Thanks, - Barbara

@Elizabeth_Burniston Calculations and defaults would attempt to populate the geoshape geometry, so it would be expected that passing point coordinates to a geoshape question wouldn't do anything. The center URL parameter would be the best approach to centering the map dynamically.

Hi @Elizabeth_Burniston, If you were accessing the survey link in a feature layer pop-up you could use Arcade to calculate the coordinates and construct the survey URL. Perhaps you can try a similar approach for your survey link? Also, Survey123 supports geocode services, another possible approach would be for the user to search for the address from the survey instead of the map. - Barbara

Hi @MonikaWheat88, You can set the default basemap by adding map="[web map map title]" or map=[web map itemId] in the body::esri:style column. See the Include a map in a survey section of the Survey123 documentation for more details. -Barbara
