Hi, Could you upload your XLS form so we can look into it further? It looks like the one that is attached is an empty template XLS. Thank you, -Barbara

Hi Jordan, Are you looking to generate a single value that contains the office, department, initial first call date, and contact date? If that's what you're looking the simplest approach would probably be to create a field that concatenates the desired fields. Since it looks like the department field already incorporates the value for office, that could look like this: Note that the date values will be in decimal date format, so you may need to specify the date format depending on how you want to use the concatenated value. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Curt, I don't think it's possible at this time to alter the check box symbol generated by ${select_multiple|checked:"value"} through the feature report template. However one possible workaround would be to use if statements to create your own checkboxes using whichever symbols you prefer. Here's an example of one way you could approach that: Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Alejandro, Thanks for including that image. In the screen cap on the right it looks like you're viewing the published survey in the web app. Unfortunately the spinner and numbers appearances are not supported on the web app. I just published an Appearances sample and it looks like those two appearances are working as they should be in the Connect preview and in the field app. If you are looking to access your published forms from the web, the Appearances tab in any Advanced Template or Sample XLS form has a list of which appearances are supported by the web app and which are supported by the field app (this list was added recently, so it will only show up on XLS forms created after July 23). Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Alejandro, Are you accessing the published survey from the Survey123 web app or from the field app? And have you updated either Connect or the Survey123 field app since you tried it last time? If you send your XLS form, I can see if I run into the same issue. Thanks, -Barbara

You could create a calculate question to generate the total number of t-shirts and then constrain against that field. If you enter ${TshirtS}+${TshirtM}+${TshirtL}+${TshirtXL}+${Tshirt2XL}+${Tshirt3XL}+${TshirtYM}+${TshirtYS} into the calculation field and then enter ${totalTshirts}<=${NumberVol} into the constraint section it should provide the validation you need on submit. In my initial testing I entered the formula you provided directly into each t-shirt field. The validation worked, but since each field constraint evaluates the sum of all fields and the 'adult small' field is evaluated first, the validation error is always shown on the 'adult small' field, even if it's 0. I'm not sure if that's the approach you took too, but it's one possibility for the behavior you're seeing. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Shari, Thanks for the XLS sheet, I was able to submit a survey if the quantity of shirts was less than the total number of volunteers and an error was returned on submit if the number of shirts was greater than the number of volunteers. Based on that I think the logic of the constraint is working as it should and that it may be another factor that that's preventing data entry. Did the shirt size fields return a validation error or were you unable to enter any value into the fields? Also, will people be creating new surveys or accessing pre-generated ones from the inbox? I did notice that the contact info group is set to read only, which would probably prevent people from submitting a new survey since some of the fields in the group are required. -Barbara

Hi Alina, I think you are correct that adding the separate counter for damaged hydrants is the best approach in this case. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Alina, One approach to this would be to create a section within the feature report template that will use an if statement to only show the first repeat and a second section that will use an if statement to show the rest of the repeats along with a page break before each one. To create an index of the repeats that the if statement can reference, you would need to create a repeat counter field that will keep track of the repeat index. See this post for more info on creating a repeat counter field: https://community.esri.com/thread/220041-how-to-assign-each-repeat-group-within-a-repeat-a-number-label. Note - In an upcoming release Survey123, it will be possible to return the repeat index automatically. This functionality is currently available on the beta version of the Survey123 website, which is accessible through the Survey123 Early Adopter Community.

Hi Katie, We tested this project on an iOS device and were not able to reproduce this behavior, however we didn't have access to an iPhone XS, so the test device was slightly different than yours. One possibility is that at some point the app settings determining how Survey123 links are opened were set to always open in Safari. You could test this by uninstalling the Survey123 app, restarting the device, and reinstalling the Survey123 app, which should reset those settings. Have you seen this behavior on other iOS devices or just the iPhone XS? Also which version of Workforce are you using? Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Flo, You should be able to fix the error message if you use the following syntax for showing the nested repeats in a table: Topic Pendencies Action required? Due date ${#entries}${#pendencies}${entries.topic} ${pendency} ${due_date}${/} ${entries.action}${/} More info on this can be found in the repeats section of the Feature report templates documentation. It isn’t possible to display multiple repeat rows next to a single adjacent parent row, but if you include the repeat on a different line, you can get a similar effect. See example below. Topic Pendencies Action required? Due date ${#entries} ${topic} ${entries.action} ${#pendencies}${pendency} ${due_date}${/} ${/} -Barbara

Hi Chirag, Try renaming the “class” field on your choices and external choices tab. Since class is a reserved word in many programming languages, this appears to be causing an issue with your choice filter/cascading select. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Jhoan, Currently it is not possible to use the choice filter on select_multiple questions. A feature enhancement currently exists for this issue, so I will add your case to the issue. One approach that people have taken as a workaround to this would be to create a select_multiple question for each possible response from the tipo de evento question and then apply a relevant based on the response to the tipo de evento question. Thank you, -Barbara
