I have several layers in WAB app and some work with Set as input of Geoprocessing and some give this error. Several of us testing and we can find no pattern at all. Map services vs feature services etc and it seems random which work and which do not. This is true for all of our GP tools and its been going on for years we just usually give up on it. But I like the less clicks. What settings am I missing here? About all I see different on the services is Supported Query Formats: JSON, geoJSON, PBF vs Supported query Formats: JSON Toolbox is set to Select widget is ignored too but that is expected. Doing it this way seems to always work but its not as easy. Thanks a lot

I have for sure seen that memory is not a full GDB. For example certain SQL functions do not work. Not documented anywhere that I have found so its a hunt and peck which can drive you nuts.

I use once(count()) and it has been the most consistent over the years. Note it will never be perfect. If a user goes back a few repeats and deletes a record the next one they create will be a dup.

Is this an iPad maybe? If so make sure the photo settings are on Most Compatible vs High Efficiency. It has issues getting coordinates when in High Efficiency. Also could be the photo app does not have location permissions? Or it could be a iPad that is WiFi only? Download the image and look at it in Windows to see if it has any lat/long in the exif at all. If you attach a photo in windows or a something like that then it would not have GPS also of course.

This happens. We usually have our crew turn on airplane mode so this does not happen while in the field. Then the token will stick for 2 weeks I think it is.

This is usually special chars in the CSV, spaces in the name of the csv, wrong case on csv file name, or using pulldata with a calc inside of it or a pulldata inside a if(). If its none of those need post the form.

If you just do &callback=https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app it will flip back to Field Maps and keep the state of the app you had already. No need to give it all that other info or it will just reload it all on you. I have never needed to encode it either it works just fine without it. Hope that helps

I have been programming 30 years and I can say Python will be way, way easier to learn. It is a very straight forward and beginner friendly language from the ground up. It also one of the top used in the world. In GIS, and esp Esri land, it has the most use cases in the day to day. I also find GIS/Python combined more interesting then just writing hardcore code all day - gets old fast for me. JS is super confusing and a big learning curve. Even with my experience I do not touch it. It is really more used in building super customized web stuff, which I also stay away from. Most orgs do better with COTS (custom off the shelf). By the time you build you own website its out of date. If you start python and love code you can always start adding JS. Hope that helps

Coming back from drafts or sent has caused us issues for years also. Calcs do not work the same way. I think inbox is similar. You could try manual calc mode and tell the users to refresh it if its blank. Or a 3 field option maybe. For me with all these reasons we use one form per visit not one repeat per visit and it all works much better. Good luck

I would actually use Field Maps for this. It is way better at the mapping and offline stuff.
