Well what I am doing is to overlay the vector I have and need to review the ski areas that I am working on. And I might need to digitize them if needed.

I am working on adding two imagery and they are in the same area. How do I display each of them rather having to show just one.... I am not sure how to do this but do I need to set them in order 1 and 2 to display them ? I created them in Mosaic Dataset, Raster Dataset and Raster Catalog...

While Drones is very new and slowly coming out today....There are not a lot of sign language interpreters have not innovate a new sign for "Drones" but the one I like the most is it is almost similar to helicopter.. This is the Sign for HELICOPTER . But with the Drones...it is the same thing ...you just close your palm hands closed together at the bottom and spread out your other hand and shaking your top hand and fly around... Isn't it fun ??? You thoughts ?

Very nice article about deaf employees doing the drones down in Austin, Texas.... Aerial Productions, Austin's all-deaf drone company, takes flight https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/new-era-old-discrimimation-anthony-mowl?trk=prof-post It is nice to see a few deaf employees that can involved in GIS, Remote Sensing, and even in Drones !! It would be nice to see some opportunities for the deaf community especially with those have geography or GIS certificate or background to stay involved these new technology. Yes, we have come a long way from the old days... Enjoy and sharing ...

So the declared valid means the data is the new data and the Input Test Features is the old data ?

I have a question for you all. So, I want to compare between the dataset I have to check for each feature. My question here is what is "Input Base Features" and "Input Test Features" ? Why didn't ESRI put the Original Data vs the New Data instead ? It just helps to less confuse and claify. I need to run MUID to check for compare to see if they both run the same name . Thanks ! BTW, I am reading here Feature Compare—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop So that helps but I want to know the difference between Input Base and Test Features ?

I have a table that consist of soil information and i worked on them to add the Map Unit and their Map Unit Name... So when I review them and I found a few of Map Unit has the same numbers but they have map unit names is different. How can I make these table to join with my file geodatabase ? In the past I have done with "Join" Tables a lot based on the same field name. But I am not sure how to do this, because when I ran this on a join table with the File Geodatabase and ran a count of summary statics. This is what I found this: The layer I have is in File Geodatabase. The table I worked on came from MS Excel 2013; however, when I exported it. I save it to the same File Geodatabase as the layer. Edit: After I post this, I went back and review the table and I found about 18 of them. If anyone has no solution to this or have confront the same situation as I am in then I have another solution to this if I don't hear from anyone. Thanks.

Yeah that should work too but what about the shapefiles, CAD, etc so that is a different story.

Yes, I am aware of that as well. What I am trying to do here is to find out what others are doing with the large gis data to share. The Government doesn't use Dropbox or anything due to with security issues. The only thing they mention is the Cloudvault that allow us to share that with others. Since I asked about this was because the person send me the data and that person had to break it down to several zip files. I think 7-zip was able to do that in one . For an email, our MS Outlook can allow us to send up to 10 MB So, I thank you everyone for sharing and hopefully in the future maybe there will be better technology for that. Take care all !

So I have been thinking about this for some time this morning about how to send someone with a large GIS data. I have googled on that topic but I was wonder if this would work. In the past, someone from the military base sent me a file geodatabase and then change the extension from .gdb to something else like .xxx or whatever. So, when I got it and then I change it back to .gdb back. So if you have a really large GIS data and you need to send it to someone... What would you do ? My thought was is to pull that large GIS data and open in ArcMap and then create it into Map package and send it to some through an email. 1. Will that work if the map package compressed and make it through the email system ? What if the map package has increase the file size ? 2. Are there any pros or cons when you use it and send it to someone ? 3. Are there others that can I use other than Map package ? I know about ftp, zip, 7zip and upload and download through such as dropbox, or some other cloud storage to share with. I am aware about AGOL that too.
