What is the function for adding or append a word after the word in the field column. I have been trying to figure it out but no luck even I google it ... I thought I'd ask anyone here.. I have a field column that has the name of the old historical aerial photos and I'd like to add an extension to it like for example .tif, or .jpeg .etc... bov_32_43.tif bov_33_55.jpeg . . . .. Has anyone out here that have tried to experiment with this product that has one large monitor that is greater than 30" inches that can let you to split multiple documents into one screen? What is your experience is like with with GIS and Remote Sensing software ? What kind of graphics that works best ? What is the pro and cons ?

I googled it and found this.... ArcGIS Shapefile Files Types & Extensions so .,dbf is an associate with MS Access or Excel... so I would set it as MS Access ?

Yes you are right. ..but what if you need to zip it and give to someone else ??? That is one reason I asked for to change to get it back to default.

This is good however it doesn't really tell me how to change the file... if you go to number 5. it shouldn't be set to default.. it should have said "Associate a file type or protocol with a specific program" This is where you want to change from pdf to another file. This is what I am asking for... Now my question to you ...is which associate type file for me to change to ? This might be a good for others who are not sure how to change before they corrupt their files.

Can anyone out here help me to get the proper files to fix this ? I had no clue how it got it to PDF ? See the red circle I drew it. It is a .dbf file and it is a database that was saved when I create a shapefile...

No, There were two boxes and the co-worker wanted the two boxes into one but if you see the second box keep the words and the rectangle in the same size....The You Are Here boxes stays the same and the size stays the same.... But there callout on both is that you cannot make the "graphic" union together and it won't work..
