While I can see major improvement on topology in ArcGIS Pro, the only thing it really annoys me is how they design both Zoom In and Out in both the Map View and the Error Inspector Preview screen. It would be nice if the Preview screen in the Error Inspector not to use the zoom in and out. Because you already have both already on ! For the Map View, leave the Zoom in and out ! For the Error Inspector , try to remove zoom in and out . Let it stand. Just sayin !

I wish everyone here a big thank you ! I decide to go online and had the PDF convert to DWG , because I have to get this done soon. You can go to this online Zamzar - video converter, audio converter, image converter, eBook converter which does that for you. You would have to find it there and upload it and it then does download for you. Just remember only up to 50 MB for free to use it.

I want to add one more thing... Our Forest does not have that in AutoCAD file so I am out of luck. It is one of the reason I post here to see for any ideas.

Yes true, but the one I have is probably not a GeoPDF from a company. I have provided the PDF here and if you open it you are looking page 3. It is a toilet that our forest on one of our Ranger District that needs to build a new one because the old one sits under tree !!!! and it is close to the river which makes it unsafe for an individual to go to the old one. ( I am laughing here because I remember watching one of the movie that had a person sit on the toilet and the windy blew up it ) The person , my supervisor, and I discussed in our MS Teams that they want me to fix the map to show the old and new building and it is to be use the the public... So ....

Hi, Do any of you had luck from one of your employee give you a PDF of picture that has drawings such as CAD, box, or anything that they wanted to be add to the map. For example, if you have a CAD drawings on a PDF and you need to convert it into GIS or CAD layers ? Is that Possible for me to do that ? Can do this in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Desktop , etc ...

What is a good tool for me to convert or create a polygon from points that I got from field crew. They are points to build a new parking lot somewhere within in the Ranger District. It was a file they use in gpx xml file used from and it was in points layer. I have tried a few tool to do this but having no luck. What I would like to have this layer to carry over the attributes over from the points to polygon. Is that Possible ? Is there a workflow for that ? I have ArcGIS Pro, Desktop .

Fixed. It was a lot to do with tiny thingy . When you zipped it, make sure the name has no space. It is what cause it to fail. Example: Test sports.zip --- NO ............ Test_sports.zip --- Yes.

Hi friends ! I got a photo from a co-worker and wanted to upload to AGOL so it can create a point of that site. However, it gives me an error like it was failing to upload. Three questions I have here is 1) Does it need to have EXIF within in that photo in order to upload correctly ? 2) Does it need to have an jpeg to upload ? 3) the coordinates are on the photo but it shows in DMS . I can provide you the picture on request to show you all.

Last year, I had my supervisor given me to create an AGOL for our field team. They are doing the collection the fuels treatments on one of our Ranger District boundary. . It is a polygon that I created and upload to it. Now I received their furls treatment layer and how do I update it to AGOL ? Do I need to just selection the fuels and upload them to the existing Fuels polygon ? I'd like to get a feedback and get a feel of how to use upload to understand and how to do this in a workflow . Thanks

Now it is working again. Not sure why but I believe there were some conflicts from another software . Hard to say but I was able to open ArcGIS Pro .

Hi I am migrating all my stuff from the old laptop to the new laptop. It is a Dell Precision 7550 laptop and am starting to install a few software that I have been using on from my old laptop. Problem is that when I install the ArcGIS Pro 2.8. I click on the icon from the start menu and when it is loading and then all of sudden it stops loading the application . I'm scratching my head here because this is from my agency that is puts the software to the cloud for the employees to install easier . I was able to install ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.1 without any problems .
