Hi , Since I am away from the office and I am a remote worker, I have spend a lot of my time working in ArcGIS Pro so I don't go to the office a lot. Yes I drive to the city where my office a lot because I have to pick up my boys. What I am trying to post here is about the Layout in the Pro. If you use the button "Zoom to display elements at their actual size" Look at the screen : Ok, so if I use that button to zoom it to 1:1 in the layout, Does it mean on the map will look the same when you print at the plotter ? Here is what Zoom to 1:1 looks like in the Layout . The only concerned is the cities I put them there.... Thanks @HeatherSmith -----> Since no one answered my question and I want to see what your answer if you can ??

Is there a button that has Zoom to 100 percent ( aka 1:1) that you see in ArcMap in the Layout. Is there one for ArcGIS Pro in the layout ? I check and ArcGIS Pro has one but not sure if it is the similiar to this ?

Hello, I have been working on creating a state map with our forest. This is to show our customer who comes into our office and our front Desk employees can show them where or which forest. The map I have has a layer that show all the county names and their symbol too. I was able to turn two of them off :however, one of them will not allow me to turn it off . I had to create a new label class for that county because it will not display in the map layout. Example in the Map Layout : This circle shows the county label is missing and It is shown in hidden outside of the map t. It is located in Cheyenne, Nebraska. When I create a new label class for that Cheyenne, NE and it will show up correctly in the map layout. However, the default label class I wrote will not allow me to turn Cheyenne label off . It keeps showing up and display. ( OR) The list I create for Label classes as follows : Would anyone in here help me out how to get it the label "Cheyenne" to turn it off in this Default label class ? I believe this SQL requires me to have two conditons for one layer ; but what if you have at least two and I think it will not work for this situtation.

I usually use the Definition Query to set within the layer and the copy two more times and change it to like this Definition Query road type is equal to Major Arterial For example : One layer using "road type is equal to Highway" copy and paste in the Contents and change again to like this road type is equal to Major Arterial Then again copy and paste the same layer and change to road type is equal to Minor Arterial Then for each layer, you can set labels for each certain roads ... and I think that is the easiest way to do it.

I am not sure how your skills are but I got to learn how to use it in Design a map with ArcGIS Pro Adobe Illustrator . This might help you to understand a bit better. The link is https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/design-a-map-with-arcgis-pro-and-adobe-illustrator/ When you get there, scroll down to Bring the map into Adobe Illustrator and it explains how to do this and read from there and go on..... In Illustrator, Did you turn on your ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud plug-in in Illustrator on their Menu "Extensions" and log in to ArcGIS Online ? That should help you guide it there.

I am doing this tutorial and this one confuse me is when you open Adobe Illustrator. So I am following here the tutorial here : https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/design-a-map-with-arcgis-pro-and-adobe-illustrator/ I worked through all of the exercise the ArcGIS Pro all the way until you see : Bring the map into Adobe Illustrator. Then scroll down until you see this : Open an AIX file. What I am confuse about this is the number 4. On Number 4, do you mean open the File at the Adobe Illustratoer menu ? Look at this screenshot ? I just wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing or clarify .

Hi, Have a question about the refresh . My question is why is there a no option to give us a option to refesh a layer or the whole project itself. I have found this : https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-configure-an-automatic-refresh-interval-for-a-la-000027518 But it is only limit to a layer ! So in Pro, the setttings and in the Options, I do not find for that as well.. What if you work on a large dataset and it takes a long time to stop the refresh and when that happens everything is just freeze and control over you. You would have to abort it through the CLTL +A LT + DELETE to kill the project. in the Task Manager.

After I post, I did thought some of things of my solution was to : Number One : Copy and paste the same layer as County . Put the Second under the first layer. Then go to Labeling and create new Defintion that you want the labels to set "is not equal to". Fix the Labeling Placement you like Number Two : For the second County layer and put under the First County layer. You can then have the layer symbol set to not visible since you already have one . Then go to Labeling and create new Defintion that you want the labels to set " is equal to". Fix the Labeling Placement you like Also, in the Labeling Section , You can add if you want is to (FieldName) & " " & "County". Yes a lot of work to put up but worth a try if you need to for a small area or a large area. Screenshot here :
