Hi I have a question about Annotation. This geodatabase annotation was done by someone else who worked on PLSS and it has all the Labels for each PLSS polygon inside of it. The label looks like (Screenshot ) here: Problem is how do I know the color for that annotation layer ? There is no way around to use Eye dropper to check for proper color of that Annotation. BTW, yes I know how to use them in the past but it was imported from mxd that I did and with the ArcGIS Pro is just a different so I want to find out a way around. Thanks !

I would like to throw one here that I wish there would a permanent one for Catalog View Pane. I had to constantly to click to open Catalog View Pane button each time when I open ArcGIS Pro project. I would like to see a pane in Catalog View to make permanent for all projects rather to open it at each time Maybe some of you dislike that idea or maybe some of you like that idea.

I have a question that might be very simple, but ... just want to hear others... So whenever I open ArcGIS Pro I constantly have to click to open Catalog View Pane whenever I need to use it... Is there a way around to make it permanent ? I know there are several ways to do it , I would have to click on it and open each time.. Kind of annoyed to me but... Anyone ? Or should I put it up in ArcGIS Ideas ??

Never mind ! I experiment it and I found a way... Turn off all the four and that worked . First , I turn it off and it did not work so I tried again and turn it back on and then off... So I turn it off and it worked... Don't know why but if you experience like this try turn Layer Order on and off and test it...

I have two layouts but are different kind of map I designed. Problem is one of them worked and the other does not work. Not sure why but could be several things.. Would the import layout prevent me from moving up or down the layers in the Element ? Or is it because I have two map layout prevent me as well ?

Hi friends , As I am working on a project and one thing I am trying to create a polygon I insert as a polyon note. It is automically add to ArcGIS Pro as a custom color with light blue and transparent which I like a lot . It looks like this Now what I would like to change the color to red polygon as a 75 percent and keep the outline as a black with 0 percent transparent . See example here I played around the effects here to try to get the red color to be more vivid transparent deep to see through? Any suggest for that ?

One thing You did not mention which version are you currently using, if you have 3.3, then there is another way you could do : https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/opening-pdfs-in-arcgis-pro-workflow.htm The reason why I looked at the picture makes me think is if someone created it in ArcGIS Pro may have enable georeferenced before export to PDF. If you get from someone else , ask them about it and see if they can do it again and send you another PDF with enabled on it. I can see that the image has a lot of work for you to do georeference.

When you work on labels for a polygon that has a lot of labels. There are some areas that have clutter that makes a hard to read the labels because of the overlaps or inable to read the map. Example : Is there a way for me to put "Lock" for each label class rather than to have Lock for the whole label class ? Thanks

Hi, I'd like to get some feedback from GIS users who have done in the past to use Map paper size in use for Mobile type of smartphone (Tablet, cell phone, etc). This person wants to use the paper size and go with Avenza Map too. What is the best or suggest for Map paper size. I made a map of three different type of and found out the person only want to use it in his moblie !
