Tom, *, Here is the post. https://community.esri.com/message/91152#91152 I'll ask an admin to set it as featured (making it similar to "sticky" on the old forums). Meanwhile, you can set a bookmark to it. Stuart Timothy Hales, Jim Barry since we do much with editing Overview of these Spaces/Sub-Spaces can you set the above discussion as featured. Also, can you set up Esri Professional Services Water Resources staffer Christine Dartiguenave as an additional owner. -- Stuart

Tom, When you land on a place the default landing will depend on how it was created. Arc Hydro is landing on its Overview panel. Simply shift over to the Content panel. Should look more familiar
And why would some the ArcHdyro discussions be dumped in "Managing Data"?
If you'll recall the ArcHydro and Hydro content originated on the old vBulettin forums in the Data Models area, the Solutions forum did not come till later. The half dozen posts that show in Managing Data came from there. Why can't ESRI "turn on" the old forums while they get this new site straightened out? The old forums are gone! RIP 3 July. Off line and receding into the past.

Tom, *, Yes, over the weekend there was additional work on the GeoNet structure. ArcHydro has received its own Sub-Space Arc Hydro --note the space-- and content looks to have been migrated there. No longer lumped together with other content in GIS -> Solutions. So we now have the Arc Hydro "users" Group (created by Christine) for general discussion and collaboration, and the Arc Hydro Sub-Space for Q&A type discussion and help. Stuart

Tom, This is the migrated thread: New password for Arc Hydro ftp site - March 11 2014, looks like they have all come over (still need to verify that). Key is to work from the Content tab, not the Overview panel where you land. It is located in the new Sub-Space (Content -- All Places -> GIS -> Solutions -> ArcHydro ), and found with a simple text filter of password. But you should be able to book mark the discussion at the new location as well. Stuart

@Paulg, Can't help much with specifics of your Collector question. But, you've placed it into your "personal" space, where it will get brief notice, but likely never answered. Suggest it would be better if you had placed it into an active GeoNet Space, Sub-Space or Group . The GeoNet Help has documents with layout of the forums--GeoNet Community Structure A little hard to locate but in Applications, looks like it would do best in the Collector for ArcGIS sub-space of All Places -> GIS -> Applications -> Collector for ArcGIS. You can move this discussion to there using the Move button under the Actions listing located in the right column of this page. Tagging looks OK but might want to add "symbols" or "symbology". Also, not sure why you've chosen the name "Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources" though, probably makes more sense to establish your own "identity" on the GeoNet. Stuart

Eric, Sorry, I can't be of much help with this, but someone from the ArcGIS Online community may be of more help. Suggest you use the Move selection from the Actions list on the right to move this thread to the ArcGIS Online space. Also you might add the "arcgis_online" tag. Good luck. Stuart

Jamal, Posted to the correct place, but please apply some tagging, "_server" and "manager" perhaps. Also, has the IE browser been hijacked? Looks to be pointing to a search engine. IE has an option on the Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab to "Reset Internet Explorer settings" YMMV. Stuart

Tom, When migrated, the old vBulletin forum category of Collector for ArcGIS was bulk dumped into a "place" in the new GeoNet (Jive 7) Applications "Space" with a tag of "collector". That migrated content can be viewed with this query: https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/content?filterID=contentstatus[published]~tag[collector]&sortKey=contentstatus[published]~creationDateDesc&sortOrder=0 Additional Jive Sub-Spaces have just been established, Collector for ArcGIS is one of these new "places", not clear if the old content will be remigrated, or just linked. For now it is empty. Stuart

Folks, GeoNet administrators have seen the need to restore at least some of the structure from the vBulletin (2010-2014) era forums. Good to see that one of the first created is a sub-space in solutions for ArcHydro related discussions. The Space seems to be linked to the Group already. Arc Hydro Any new Hydro or ArcHydro related discussions should be opened there. Existing threads have not been migrated, yet. I hope they will. Stuart

sasikanth pulugurtha, Kranthi kiran This discussion is untagged and has been placed where few with interest and knowledge will be able to assist. Might I suggest you move it (the Actions -> Move button on the right) to the All Places -> GIS -> Mapping Space, and assign it the schematics tag as well as the silverlight tag. Rick Anderson has already seen this, but it will help others to find it as well. Stuart

Jeff, While not obvious, Esri picked this rather unfortunate name for their new Licensing and product support portal. This open group meetup on these new GeoNet forums is likewise unfortunately named. The assistance you seek can be found posting a discussion or question in the All Places -> GIS -> Managing Data Place. You can move this thread (the Actions -> Move button on the right side) to there it if you like. Or leave it here and someone may post up a response if they come across the posting on a tag based search. Stuart

Folks, All content from the June 2010 - June 2014 ArcHydro forum was dumped into All Places -> GIS -> Solutions place with an "Arc_Hydro" tag. Navigate there via All Places and select the content tab. Similar for the Hydro content. It was dumped into All Places -> GIS -> Solutions place with a "Hydro" tag. Use the "filter by tag" button and apply one of these tags--then enter any keyword to search. Discussions/Questions can be opened here on this Arc Hydro open group meetup. Or opened in All Places -> GIS -> Solutions and linked back with whats new as appropriate. Remember the key to making this work efficiently for us all is using appropriate tags with each new discussion. Stuart Update: over the 12-13 July weekend, all the migrated ArcHydro forum content has been relocated into its own new Sub-Space Arc Hydro should help to keep things organized. Stephan, Not normally my area of interest, but looking at your screen clip, if you are on Server 10.2 you appear to be trying to install the patch for a 10.2.1 install. Does the 10.2 version of the patch install? Stuart

Lauren, Yes, it will. However the Stack Exchange model of tightly moderated tag approval can also be cumbersome and frustrating to users trying to submit their questions. The Jive (v7) host that Esri chose to use has a VERY liberal tag creation and management--it just swallows it all and indexes the tags. The more popular tags in each "place" are listed first. Over time the tag use stabilizes. You can see that manifested by using the "browse by tags" during query or when submitting to discussions. Personally though, I'd like to see some aspect of tag generation tightened up now at launch, rather than having to clean things up going forward. Stuart
