I am looking for the same thing. Adding to the Survey123 Sample to include an example of using pulldata from a csv to get multiple rows from the csv based on a previous question would be most helpful. We have a use case with bridge inspections were there's data in a csv file that is related by an identifier that is a 1:M relationship and we need to pull this data into the survey for field work. Please give us an example ESRI!

@DavidPike Yes, I am aware that ArcMap has a 5 year life left, but working for Government, ArcPro is not yet available in our data center. Having to work with our SDE data, located at the data center, leaves us with ArcMap as our only choice. It will likely be 2 more years before ArcPro is stood up at our data center where our corporate databases are located. That leaves many of us in a tight spot where ArcMap is no longer being enhanced or supported, with the answer being "switch to ArcPro", which we cannot do right now, as much as we'd like to. I don't have high hopes that anyone from Esri will implement this idea in a patch, but since we have a couple more years of using ArcMap primarily, I thought I'd at least ask.

I could not find an ArcMap Idea Board, so hope this is a good place, and also can't believe this hasn't been proposed already. I need to hide the time portion of the Date field in ArcMap. We are using Oracle enterprise geodatabase (SDE) and the only option we have is Date, which translates to an Oracle Timestamp field. We are storing Start and End dates for trips and would like to do things like date calculations for trip durations, but the data users want the time part hidden, as it is distracting and unnecessary for editing and using the data. We are able to hide the time portion on AGOL, why not in ArcMap? Please add this to the field settings so we can hide the time portion of the Date field data type. Or allow a true Oracle Date field where we can specify the precision to only hold the date. We do not want to see the time. Thank you!

For the test that failed a third of the way through, it was a simple 'Test'... PARAMETERS: Input Table: TongassNFWaterXing_COPY Field Name (Existing or New): FishPresence Expression: 'Test' Expression Type: ARCADE Code Block Updated Input Table: TongassNFWaterXing_COPY Field Type: TEXT FIELD PROPERTIES: Field Name: FishPresence Alias: Fish Presence Data Type: Text Allow Null: True Length: 100 Perhaps some sort of memory leak? But I would think 70K records would not be too big to handle... we have layers with far more features than this point layer and this was a simple text expression.

I am using ArcPro v2.7.1 and tried CalculateField on a hosted feature layer which I created and is in my AGOL content. I added it to ArcPro and then tried to Calculate Field on a null column. Start Time: Tuesday, March 2, 2021 11:38:15 AM ERROR 160231: Geodatabase System Tables not found Failed to execute (CalculateField). Failed at Tuesday, March 2, 2021 2:11:10 PM (Elapsed Time: 2 hours 32 minutes 54 seconds) Upon looking up the error, I see: 160231: Geodatabase System Tables not found. ArcGIS Pro 2.7 | Other versions Description No geodatabase system tables were found. Solution Note: There is no documented solution at this time. It calculated 22,404 records out of 71,282 total in the hosted feature layer, before erroring out. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know if this is a known bug?

I am trying to troubleshoot my first ArcPro Add-in where the selected layer in the Table of Contents is a hosted feature layer. The tool fails, but succeeds when I use a local file geodatabase feature class. So I tried just using Calculate Field in ArcPro directly on the hosted layer, to see if I could get at what the issue was. After over 2 hours of processing, I received Error 160231: Geodatabase System Tables not found. Description No geodatabase system tables were found. Solution There is no documented solution at this time. I thought perhaps being new, there was some syntax in my Add-in code that was not correct, but seeing this error by just calculating a field directly in ArcPro on the hosted layer makes me think maybe bug.

@patrickb YES! I would love assistance, if possible, or to provide our structure so it can be handled "in a future release". 😉 I didn't see a way to upload a file, so hopefully this link to the zipped file GDB will work. https://new.cloudvault.usda.gov/index.php/s/P45x9rDP259tmj3 It contains some sample "dummy" data in the structure it's in. So we have this in our corporate Oracle SDE database (version 10.7) and then published to our internal ArcServer as a Feature/Map Service. It is that Feature Service we are trying to use in the Dashboard or WebApp Builder products. When accessed this way, the relationships do not allow for the related tables to be in an element (List/Details pane) and filter based on selections in other elements. I have tried to also create an SDE database view and publish that on our internal ArcServer and that works except the photos do not come through. Even when I explicitly name the DATA column to show, it does not display the photo. The data structure in SDE is as follows: Activity (feature class) Many-to-one relationship to: Stop (related table) Many-to-one relationship to: Day (related table) Many-to-one relationship to: Trip (related table) One-to-many relationship to: Photos (related table) One-to-many relationship to: Photos__Attach (attachment table) This data is originally created in Survey123 and then using FME, processed and broken into this structure, adding additional fields and performing calculations, and published as a service. This is the dashboard using the published SDE database view for the Details pane because I could not get it to work properly using each of the related tables in it's own pane. DashboardUsingView.JPG I am able to see that there are two photos for the selected record (Trip table TRIP_GUID is in the TRIP table and the PHOTOS table and the photo is in the attachments table linked to the Photos table on OBJECTID/REL_OBJECTID). But can not for the life of me get the photos to show up in the pane. At the bottom of the Details pane, there is some Arcade that can see there are two photos but they don't show there either (set up in the map Popup). DashboardUsingViewDetailsPane.JPG Please let me know if you can provide any assistance or need more information to implement this functionality. I would be happy to work with you. Thank you!

I agree, and need something very similar. We have a feature class published as a service on ArcServer and it has 4 related tables (tablular only), one of which has photo attachments. I need to create a Dashboard or WebApp for personnel to review all of the data submitted in the related tables. The relationships are not honored by Dashboard or WebApp to get the data to display as a List or Details pane, and have it relate and filter to everything else. It seems if everything was a spatial layer and related, it would be much easier. The Dashboard and WebApp does not recognize the related tables in my web map that is the source.

I am still finding this difficult to do, 5 years later. Using Dashboards (Beta) or WebApp Builder and having much trouble getting photo attachments to show up, where they are related a few M:1 tables deep.

Agree, this needs to be implemented in AGOL. Our need/use case is a mobile schema (data collected in Survey123 or Collector) that has a field that is calculated using Arcade, which needs a trigger to run whenever certain fields are edited or new records are created in the hosted feature service.

Jake Skinner When I ran the script, it downloaded the features and attachments, but not the related table. I have a Survey123 hosted feature class with a repeat in a related table that I would like to download via script so that it could be scheduled. If I go on AGOL, to the Survey123 data page, I can Export to a File Geodatabase manually and it does bring down the attachments AND the related table records. Is there any way to add that to the above tool, which is otherwise fabulous? Thank you!
