Hi @jbcypreste The Construct Polygons tool creates a polygon feature for each closed boundary formed by selected lines and/or polygon features (both can be inputs). A common use case: you have a closed loop of lines that you want to convert into a polygon. I wouldn't recommend Construct Polygons as an alternative to Paste Special.

Good call @RTPL_AU , I agree Align/Distribute commands should work while projecting on the fly. That is a valid use case. Thanks for pointing that out.

To prevent editing geometry while still allowing attribute edits you can author an Attribute Rule as outlined in the following blog article: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-pro/data-management/prevent-geometry-updates-allow-attribute-updates-on-features-with-attribute-rules/

That shouldn't prevent edits from being made, even though it's a best practice to edit in the same coordinate system as the data.

@RyGuy There is one outstanding bug that I'm aware of: https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/when-using-the-split-tool-from-the-modify-features-pane-bug-000172550 If you are experiencing it, I assume two things to be true: The data is projected on the fly while editing https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/introduction-to-projection-on-the-fly.htm The sketch is being snapped to an existing vertex while splitting (since that bug doesn't reproduce unless you snap to a vertex). My suggestions: Contact Esri Technical Support to have your case attached to the defect to follow it (or investigate it as a new defect if your scenario is different). Until it is fixed, try to keep the map in the same coordinate system as the layers you are editing. I know this isn't always easy to do, but it is considered a best practice.

@EditorCarbonNet The Copy Parallel tool will create parallel lines using geodetic distances as long as the map uses a geographic coordinate system such as WGS 1984:

@ISGGISAdmin That's the snapping cache that shows if you hold the T key while sketching (creating features) and while snapping is enabled. It allows you to see what is able to be snapped to in the vicinity of the cursor. It shouldn't persist. Perhaps you need to hit the T key again like @Tamiller suggested. If it sticks around after closing and re-opening Pro then perhaps you have a stuck T key. If not, perhaps it was a fluke. If you can reproduce it getting stuck again, please contact Esri Technical Support so they can investigate a possible bug. Thank you!

Is "Allow reshaping without a selection" checked on at the bottom of the tool pane? More info about this setting in the doc, see step 4: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/reshape-a-feature.htm

This is already possible by setting one of these filters in Arrange Templates found at the top left of the Create Features pane: So now when you select a layer in Contents pane, only the templates for that layer display in Create.

In ArcGIS Pro, you can select a node by holding the N while dragging a selection box. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/move-a-topology-node.htm
