Hi Cheryl, CTRL+SHIFT should work to select multiple vertices in 2.6.2. This changed at 2.5 when we made some improvements to the edit vertices geometry grid. The other way would be to use the vertices toolbar like so: Modify feature vertices—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Thanks, Scott

Hi Josh, Currently, the Divide tool works best with regular-shaped polygons. There should be a warning that comes up if the split line will not intersect with the polygon, like this: However, at 2.6, a bug is causing this warning to be skipped, allowing Divide to execute and generate the "Divide features failed" error. This will be fixed in the next release of ArcGIS Pro. I understand this doesn't help in your situation. In your case, if you end up using Divide, you can try to make the polygon more or less regular by splitting the polygon to eliminate concave areas and donut holes. This will require some manual editing probably followed by some merging. The first thing I would try is to split the polygon here: Regarding the larger project, if geometry doesn't matter, it's a bit unclear to me why you can't use a related table to store the impervious area percentages for each unit. Thanks, Scott

Hi Michelle, Are you sure the issue isn't that the Explode tool is filtering the selection? The tool is expecting multipart features, and the Explode tool's Active Select tool will not select single part features - it filters them from being selected and only selects multipart features. This is the Active Select tool that's found on the Modify Features pane when some editing tools are active: When using the tool, the Select cursor is black: If you switch to the core Select tool found on the ribbon of the Edit or Map tab, the Explode tool will no longer be active and the cursor will switch to white, indicating the selection will no longer be filtered: Core select tool found on the ribbon Using this select tool should allow you to select and act on the the recently exploded features. Documentation on selecting features for editing: Select features for editing—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation FYI - Based on feedback like this, we are planning to improve this experience in future releases. Does this help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Payton, At 2.6, a change was made to Paste Special to make it consistent with Paste. When you use Paste Special, it now opens up the Move tool (on the Modify Features pane) just like a regular Paste did prior to 2.6. Regarding the "Save Edits" dialog popping up, take a look at my comments in this thread, as it could be related to what you're seeing: edit auto save Thanks, Scott

Hi Josh, Yes, I agree it's confusing. Thank you for uncovering the unexpected behavior, and I apologize for the confusion. Like I mentioned above, we are discussing this issue internally to determine a better user experience for a future release. Thank you, Scott

Hi Josh, Thanks for the screenshot. I think because you have the option to "Save edits when saving a project" checked on, the Project Recovery save that occurs behind the scenes (mentioned above by Tim) is triggering the save edits dialog to appear whenever a recovery save occurs. For now, perhaps you can turn off the "automatically save edits" option all together since the Project Recovery option is taking care of popping up the save edits dialog. We will discuss this internally to determine a better user experience for a future release. Thanks, Scott

Adelaide Zumwalt (or anyone who wants to see this implemented) Currently, when you use the Divide tool on a polygon, you have to choose either a polygon edge or draw a line to set the direction that the polygon will be divided: Would it be useful to you if ALL of the polygons that you selected were divided along the same direction line? Or would you expect to be able to set a direction line for each polygon individually? Or would you expect the software to figure it out somehow? If so, using what logic? Thanks for any input. -Scott

Hi Robert, Regarding having a one stop shop for field mapping for gp tools: you might want to post that over on the ArcGIS Ideas page - if it's not already over there. I suppose one reason why Editing tools have their own Field Mapping option is because editing tools work on layers that are already in the map. GP tools can work on feature classes from any number of sources and are not restricted to what's already in the map. Thanks, Scott

Hi Gareth, Does the same thing happen if you add the feature class to a new map? How about a new project? Any clues in the Editing Status dialog? Edit ribbon > Manage Edits group > Status button will bring up the dialog. Esri Technical Support can help narrow it down too. Thanks, Scott

Hi Jerome, This could be a data/project specific problem, and would be difficult to troubleshoot on this forum. Please contact Esri Technical Support as they can help narrow down what could be causing the issue. Thanks, Scott

Hi Robert, Those field mapping settings are used for some of the editing tools found on the Editing ribbon > Modify Features pane (Mirror, Attribute Transfer, Copy Parallel), and also used when Copying and Pasting features and attributes in the Attributes pane. For the Append geoprocessing tool, the Field Map parameter will show up only if you have Use the Field Map to reconcile schema differences set for the Schema Type parameter. Does that help? Thanks Scott
