Hi, What's the pattern with the fields that work vs. the fields that don't? What type of field? Where does the default value come from? - values you defined in the template or are these defaults from the database itself? What version of Pro are you using? Can we assume the data you are publishing is branch versioned? Is Technical Support involved? They can assist with narrowing things down, and log a bug if necessary. Thanks, Scott

@ellen_fehrs Did you add an elevation source to your map or scene, here is the doc on it: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/mapping/properties/elevation-surfaces.htm relevant section: Does this help? Thanks, Scott

Closing this out. Original submitter considers the behavior described as an older software bug that is now fixed.

Hi @NicholasBarger When you noticed the problem, were you creating a new feature or were you using the Edit Vertices tool? From this statement... "If you move the cursor a little closer you will notice it changes to a box with arrowheads off every side. Now you can move the vertex by itself." ...it sounds like you are creating a new feature, but I didn't want to assume because there is a difference in behavior. The distance is controlled by the snapping tolerance, which can be lowered, and that may give you the desired behavior. The tolerance applies when moving vertices while creating features and while using the Edit Vertices tool. If you were creating a new feature, you have to hover over the vertex for a moment in order to get the move handle. This behavior ensures that you can move vertices while sketching and allows you to snap a new vertex to an existing vertex in the same sketch (more discussion about this in this thread). If you are using the Edit Vertices tool, you can move vertices or segments that you hover over immediately. The other thing I want to clarify, was Stretch Proportionately turned on? This setting will affect whether segments stretch along with the vertex (on), or just the vertex itself (off). More info on that setting here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/editing/modify-feature-vertices.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_70031A999B8A4E55B6B05DFF29672806 Thanks in advance for any clarification, Scott

Hi, If you use the Split editing tool (Edit tab > Modify > Split), you can Split by feature: Documentation: Split a feature—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Does that help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Joe, Glad you got some rest... I know I didn't. I guess I made an assumption about what you needed. Since, in your original questions you were looking at feature templates, I didn't consider that you wanted an automated solution and not a manual editing solution. By the way, the builder reference doc will be fixed for the next release. If the goal is getting those "coordinate" attributes on those points, perhaps a join using FID_AddressGridMDG of the points and OID of the lines will get you part way there and then perhaps a spatial join with a bit more data massaging. Sorry I don't have a full solution since it's not my area of expertise . Hopefully, someone else can chime in. Thanks, Scott

Hi Joe, Regarding the Intersection construction tool, it shows up on the Construction Toolbar when you are creating a point or line or poly. Open Create Features pane > choose the point template > choose the Point tool.... > construction toolbar will show up on the map (defaults to the bottom): Regarding the group template, from your screenshot, click Apply and add in any point feature template. It requires Line as primary and a point as secondary "component". Does that help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Joe, If you're creating a few features, can you use the Intersection snapping agent while creating new point features? The other option is to use the Intersection constructor tool found on the construction toolbar: I'm honestly not sure why the builder reference is missing the 'Point at every intersection' builder, but it should be available if you have a line as the primary geometry when creating the group template: I'll look into whether the doc needs to be updated. References: Turn snapping on or off—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Create a point or vertex at an inferred intersection—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Point at every intersection (Polyline)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Does that help? Thanks, Scott

Hi Jared, It seems like it could be this bug: BUG-000129214: ArcGIS Pro 2.5 does not consistently display drop-do.. That bug says it's inconsistent - which is not ideal. If you have a consistent reproducible case, I would suggest reporting it to Technical Support Esri Support Contact Support - since it could be a different bug. The other reason I say this is because I couldn't reproduce the behavior using my own data, even by following your insights about adding the fields after adding editor tracking fields. Perhaps there is an order of operations that I'm missing, for example, was Editor Tracking turned on before or after publishing? Is Sync enabled - when was it enabled? Perhaps you are seeing the "inconsistent" behavior and maybe the domain will show up the next time you add the layer to a new project? Thanks, Scott

It will be found on the Create Features pane for polygon and line feature templates. Not a GP tool.

Hyun-min Joo FYI In an upcoming release, you'll be able to use a new polygon tool called the Regular Polygon tool. The tool will allow you to set the number of sides for a polygon that you will create, preview of the functionality: Here I set the number of sides to 4 to make a square. I can create the square centered on the point by snapping to it and dragging outward. If I had another feature nearby, I could also snap the corner of the polygon to it. -Scott
