There are still differences. You are using a feature service while I am using a map service. My data is in a file geodatabase. Perhaps one of these differences is the reason why my labels aren't displaying for the polygons. Still, the points label fine, so I don't know.

Yes, I've seen it work with web maps, but I am not using WebMap - I am using Map with the MapView (and ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 for the map service with WebGL enabled). I'd post the code, but it is a complex application with numerous modules and function calls... I will say, however, that my code is very similar to what you have, the WebMap/Map difference aside. If there is some specific code that I could show that would shed some light, I'd be happy to do that.

With the 4.8 API, labeling is now available for points and polygons. I have 10.6.1 installed, webGL enabled, and am consuming a point and polygon feature class as feature layers. The point layer labels just fine, but the polygon layer does not. Am I missing something? I even manually added a labelClass for the polygon layer and it still doesn't work. I can't find any examples of polygons being labeled online with the 4.8 API. Any help is appreciated.

I have a feature layer with the data in UTM and I'm trying to use mapView.goTo and pass in the geometry of one of the features. Nothing happens and I'm guessing this is because the geometry isn't geographic, WGS84, or web mercator. Am I missing something? When I use webMercatorUtils and canProject passing in the wkid for my UTM coordinates, it returns false - meaning I can't project from UTM to Web Mercator.

I have a url that returns a callback (JSONP): http://warrencountyny.gov/rp/section.php?r=text&pk=302.15-12-24&town=520500 What is the proper way to use esriRequest with JSONP? I have: esriRequest(url, { callbackParamName: 'callback' }).then(function (result) { console.log(result); }).otherwise(function (err) { console.log(err); }); This fails with an expected JSON error. If I do: esriRequest(url, { responseType:'jsonp', callbackParamName: 'callback' }).then(function (result) { console.log(result); }).otherwise(function (err) { console.log(err); }); It returns the data (result.data) as a string: callback({ "file": "Glens Falls/Glens Falls_302.15.pdf", "size": "372.72 kB" }); If I do this inside, I can get the "file": esriRequest(url, { responseType: 'jsonp', callbackParamName: 'callback' }).then(function (response) { var jsonp = response.data; var f = new Function('callback', jsonp); f(function (json) { console.log(json.file); }); }).otherwise(function (err) { console.log(err); }); Is this the right way to do this, or am I missing something? Any thoughts are appreciated.

I'll mark as answered, but it is painful dealing with some of these things. How would one know to remove the title property?

After looking at your sample, I found the issue. I am setting the layerInfos property for the Legend widget. Once removed, the legend works fine with the group layers. Since I want to show all map layers in the legend, this is not an issue for me (removing the layerInfos property). However, if I only wanted to show a subset of layers by specifying layerInfos, then the legend widget has issues with GroupLayers.

Did you try it with feature layers? I'm not setting the layers [] property directly in the GroupLayer. I am using grpLyr.add(featLyr).

The FeatureLayer is a sub layer for the GroupLayer. I have a few group layers and each group layer has a few feature layer sub layers. The layers property on GroupLayer is where these feature layers go. This works perfect with the LayerList widget (all namings are correct, including the sub layers). With the Legend widget, the group layer name is correct, but all sub layers, instead of using the feature layer "title", use the group layer "title".
