The plot thickens: I reverted one of my environments to Pro 2.2.4, and untools 2.2.2 also doesn't like my asset package [I got a bunch of bad field name errors, which I forgot to save]. I had to go back to untools 2.2.0 [which I've been using all along] in order for it to apply without errors.

FYI, the Naperville sample gas data asset package is also failing. I've been working with UPDM 2018 and untools 2.2 successfully for some time. Today, I upgraded to 2.3.0, and AssetPackageToUtilityNetwork is crashing. The first crash gave this error: ERROR 001959: No valid asset type was found. [Excess Flow Valve/Automatic Reset] Failed to execute (SetSubnetworkDefinition). I tried running it again, and got this error: Item Field OID Value Message Level 0 None None PipelineDevice-8 | PipelineDevice-17 | PipelineDevice-15 | PipelineDevice-19 | PipelineDevice-20 | PipelineDevice-16 | PipelineDevice-5 | PipelineDevice-18 | PipelineDevice-2 | PipelineDevice-12 | PipelineDevice-3 | PipelineDevice-13 | PipelineDevice-1 | PipelineDevice-9 | PipelineDevice-11 | PipelineDevice-4 | PipelineDevice-10 | PipelineDevice-6 AssetType domain is used in multiple places. error What's up? Do I need to uninstall Pro 2.3 and go back to 2.2?

I see that at 100.4, QueryRelatedFeaturesAsync works with m:n relationships in a MMPK, at least in one direction. However, it still fails in the reverse direction with an "Item not found in the database" exception. Is this known behavior?

Taking a closer look at the subnetwork properties, I realized that the out-of-the-box valve and meter counts in UPDM use invalid asset types. After updating the asset types to correct values, I'm getting the counts. For MAOP, I switched the function from MIN to MAX, because services do not have MAOP populated. I found the aggregated lines property to be confusing, but I think I have it straight now. If I exclude services from aggregated lines, they don't contribute to the subnet line geometry, but they still contribute to summary attributes. However, it looks as though I can set a filter in the summary to exclude them, though I'll have to create an asset group network attribute; I'll do some more playing around with that.

I have just learned that Pro 2.3 will support (upgraded) annotation in MMPKs. What's the timeline for Runtime support? This is still a real sticking point for getting away from MPKs and local server.

Thanks for the reply. There are genuine cartographic principles at issue here. Representations were also an attempt to address them some time ago, and what happened to that? Perhaps cross-platform, web/mobile mapping is still not considered a place for serious map makers.

Sorry, haven't had a chance to play with that yet. I do plan to try out a CP tier group at some point, but until I can get system and pressure tiers to calculate their summary fields, I'm not yet convinced that subnetworks are even worth pursuing in the first place.

Several summaries are defined for the system and pressure tiers in UPDM, but they're not being calculated when I update the subnetworks. I applied the UN patch to no effect. Is there something I'm missing?
