Perfect, works like a charm and I have tested it on Pro 2.1 Beta. Thanks so much for sharing.

Susan, that sounds very unusual. I have just created a new map, changed the projection to something different than that of my feature classes, then added my feature classes and I could copy across geometry and attributes. Perhaps start up a new project and try adding the same layers to copy across features.

Last comment, if the TOC is active and you try and copy and paste, then it will just add a duplicate of the layer under the TOC. The map view must be active for it to paste features across different layers.

But if you dont tick the box for "Keep source attribute values" then none of the attributes are copied across.

Hi Dan They were the same but I have just added an additional field and copied that across and it copied across all the matching attribute data but not my new column.

Hi Susan You can quite easily copy across features and attributes from one file to the other. Just ensure that both features are editing enabled (under the TOC). Select feature, then right-click on feature and select copy. Then go to Paste, Paste Special, then select the appropriate receiving template or layer to paste feature into. There is a even a tick-box to "Keep source attribute values". I was able to copy across the attributes into the same fields of the receiving template attribute table. The fields were perfectly matched and in the same geodatabase.

The Tabulate Area GP tool should do the trick. It is found in the Spatial Analyst Tool/Zonal toolbox.. Check out Tabulate Area—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

If you are only interested in the count, you could convert your buildings to a point feature and then run spatial join to get the number of points within your polygons.

Drew, do you have any active feature edits that are not saved under the map view? If there are outstanding unsaved edits under the map view then Pro wont let you make changes to the attribute table under the table view.

Within your project, I suspect you may have a layer loaded or folder connection to a geodatabase that is at least 16 Gb in size (probably more if uncompressed)? Regardless of what feature is actually loaded and being used in a project, Pro will package up the entire geodatabase into a map package. Not great at all and I certainly wish they would only package up the actual features being used. I usually dont want to share my entire geodatabase with other users, just certain feature classes. Not sure if this is your particular problem but it was mine some time back.

An alternative approach to keep your data in raster format would be to run the Region Group GP tool. This will create a new raster with a count field. To calculate size simply multiply the count field by the size of your pixels in m2. You are fortunate as your pixels are 1 x 1 m so your count field should be equal to your size in m2. Otherwise, if the pixel was say 30 x 30 m, then to determine size would be: Count x 900 (30x30). Then run the Select Layer by Attributes tool to select those groups greater than your threshold size.

You could take look at the Tile Package Kreator application for downloading world imagery (or other ESRI basemaps) as tiles packages (disconnected or uploaded to AGOL). See Tile Package Kreator | ArcGIS Blog or https://marketplace.arcgis.com/listing.html?id=9c9ddae83e5549bb88a2c22e87a18ba1 It seems one can only create Mobile Map Packages from vector data.

One can get the date, resolution and accuracy of the DigitalGlobe imagery in ArcGIS Online. Just add the world imagery as a layer (not basemap), then click on map and popup will provide date and accuracy details of the tiled basemap imagery.

I generally use the panes to do this, not the menu bar. Right-click on the scale bar and open properties. Then click on text and there one can change the font size.
