If you just want to edit a feature service then you are over-thinking it. The process you described above (Share > Overwrite Web Layer) is one where you would like to replace the feature service with another feature service, not editing. It is actually frightfully easy. Add your feature service to ArcGIS Pro. Start editing and the changes are automatically made to the online feature service. No need for making local copies and then publishing them back to AGOl. It happens automatically. It is a much better experience now.

You may want t try a slightly different approach, a logistic model rather that OLS. Although I have not tried it, you should be able to run the Generalized Linear Regression tool on binary variables using Generalized Linear Regression (GLR)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation. When you run the tool, you can choose between using continuous, count, or binary variables.

Hi Zhifang Thank you for your email. The good news is that sorting the records does allow me to create my reports. I first observed this error on the 28 January 2020. I made changes to it in December, but to the hosted feature layer in AGOL. It would be related to layer views and permissions. I created the original feature service in Survey123 Connect. I then later 'opened' the feature service in AGOL as described above. I do have web-hooks attached to the survey to notify me when survey is being submitted. I cant find the edit date field in the feature service. I had not sorted the data by any field before trying to generate the report. Interestingly, when i now look at the Overview tab in www.survey123.arcgis.com, then under Surveys Submitted, it now says "This feature is not available. The creator field cannot be found in the feature service."

Hi Jacob Taking a look at your map, it seems the cities that are still unplaced are those that have very small polygons (too small for the numbers to fit). Although I am not all that familiar with this workflow, perhaps try and allow the maplex labeling engine to place labels outside of polygon boundary (I hope it then does not try and place the city names outside the boundaries!). You also mentioned that the label buffer did not show any visible changes on the map. It does when I use it. Have you changed the buffer distance to 50%? I cant offer any further advice on how to apply unique key number values for the labels. Maybe somebody else can assist. Do also take a look at this video to help you with your labelling Video Link : 5618 Good luck.

You should try the Build Balanced Zones GP tool under the Spatial Stats toolbox. Do see Build Balanced Zones—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation and How Build Balanced Zones works—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation.

ArcGIS Pro can automatically create the numbering for you as a label fitting strategy. However it will only do so if it feels it cannot place the labels in the existing space on the map. Firstly you need to set the key numbering properties under the Labeling tab in the Map group. See below insert. Follow these instructing but you will need to create a new group then click OK. Key numbering—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation Then you need to activate key numbering. To do so, right-click on your cities layer in the content pane and select Labeling Properties. This will open the Label Properties pane. Under the Position tab, select the middle symbol for Fitting Strategy. Then expand the Key number option. Then under Group name select teh new group you created. Numbering will automatically be applied but make sure you are in Layout view. Make sure you have no other fitting strategies activated (like Reduce size) If you want more labels to be numbered and not actually labelled on the map, then under Position>Conflict resolution, choose Buffer and then add a large buffer around each label (I think 50% is the max value). Make sure you tick the Hard constraint check box.

Hi there Last year I created a report template which I uploaded to https://survey123.arcgis.com/surveys and everything was working perfectly. I could share the reports to others. Thereafter, I recall also creating a hosted layer view of the feature service in AGOL. Dont think I made any other changes. Unfortunately this year I am unable to generate any reports. I get the error message "Error occurred when querying data from the feature layer. Cannot perform query. Invalid query parameters." after clicking on the "generate" report button, or viewing the sample report. At first I thought this may be related to any permissions being changed on the layer in AGOL, but I don't think so. I even tried downloading a sample report from Survey123 (under Mange Templates) for my dataset but that also does not work. Any suggestions as to where my problem may lie?

If I understand you problem then it is very easy to fix. You should just be able to change the order of the layer names from the Symbology pane and these will be updated in the Legend. So from your Symbology pane, click in the specific feature name under the "Value" subheading, then drag up or down.

If you are going to use ArcGIS Pro to run your supervised image classification then there is no need to create a single tif image. Pro will accept the mosaic data set as input into geoprocessing tools. But note that if you are planning on running the segment mean shift tool, then the required input is a 3 band 8 bit image. I usually use the Extract Bands raster function to extract the 3 bands I need and then under General I change the pixel type to 8 bit. I then use the output of this raster function as input into the segment mean shift tool.

You can also try a Spatial Join and under Match Option, select Closest. This will then add a field in your attribute table with the closest distance. You can then also limit this search distance to say 100 km if you set a value in the Search Radius field.

If you want to calculate the average or median value of an elevation raster, then look at Focal Statistics. Focal statistics can provide you with a multitude of various mathematical operations for, example, a 9 x 9 pixel area. See How Focal Statistics works—Help | ArcGIS Desktop and Focal Statistics—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Or if your zones are in a different raster, then look at using Zonal Statistics as Table How Zonal Statistics works—Help | ArcGIS Desktop and Zonal Statistics as Table—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

Hi Jane Having a distance of 0 may indicate that these features are overlapping or touching. If they are not, then check for any multipart features that may be influencing the results. I also frequently use the Repair Geometry tool if anything usually looks amis.

You should be able to use the Near tool. Just include your feature layer as both the input features and near features. It will calculate the distance between all your features within the layer.
