Robert, I asked that question in the past and you responded (Local Layer Widget ). Your answer enabled me to use defintionexpresions for a layer and they work fine, until I make a modification on that layer. When the modification is done and saved, the definition expressions are removed from json file!

I noticed that when I update a layer in the local layer widget configuration, by using its interface, all definition expressions for that layer that are in the config_local Layer Widget.json are removed! Did anyone else has this experience? Thanks.

Hi Robert. I placed the button on my screen. When I click on the button a small gray button shows up right under it. Then you click on that button, the message appears. Is that a glitch? Thanks.

You are correct. I saw that reference before but could not find the "layer.url". I just realized that I was looking at the layerinfo.js instead of layerinfos.js THank you.

Thanks. Is there a way to avoid to show the name of the folder that the layers are located under on the services directory? For example, from the screenshot instead of SDSI - ASBS to be just ASBS.

I am using the custom widget layerlist and I am trying to group layers. I already grouped the layers in ArcMap, as you can see in the services directory screenshot. However, wab lists the layers and not in group (last screenshot). Any ideas? Thank you. Services Directory

I need to keep to load a widget at startup and run in the background (not visible). There is no user interface. The off-panel widget has the visible property but not the "openAtStart" property. The on-panel widget has the "openAtStart" property but not the visible property. Is there a way in configuration to do both? If not, by code? Thanks.

In flex, I was able to host multiple configurations under the core application by using index.html?config=myconfig.xml So, different layers and tools would be loaded depending which xml was called. Is there any way in web appbuilder to do a similar task? To build an app that depending the url parameter (xml or ?) to attach the appropriate layers and tools. Thanks.

the config.json is located under the root of the application? tha'ts the one I refer to. I believe it is 1.1. Is there 1.2? ESRI's web appbuilder website says current version 1.1

Thanks. If download the application and install it on your server, and then you decide to make it not visible, where is the configuration file? In the config.json are all the other widgets but not the geocoder.
