Hello, I have an existing survey that captures tree information; however, the hosted feature layer is becoming quite large so performance is really slow when refreshing the Inbox to edit data (even with spatial filtering enabled. Note: I've increased the maximum record count from 1000 to 10000). As a result, I've created a test hosted feature view from the main hosted feature layer for a particular area. I've created a second S123 form from the first survey, with slight default survey response differences (including a unique ID that concatenates the community being surveyed with time) & would like to use that against the hosted feature view. However, creating a new survey from an existing survey creates a new hosted feature layer. This is not what I want. I want the new survey to reference the hosted view. Is my only option to create a new survey from the hosted view and then edit the new survey to essentially look like the first? Thanks.

Is it possible to use Collector to create a point, then edit that same point with S123 called from a Collector URL? Collector and S123 are using the same hosted feature layer, however, I'm finding that S123 drops another point after being called from the Collector URL. The workflow I'm looking to implement involves using Collector to record tree locations and a few basic attributes about the tree but also call S123 to collect additional tree attributes and perform subsequent tree inspections.

Hi Kelly, I submitted a support ticket to Esri Canada and they’ve been able to replicate the issue. However, they still have some testing they want to do before forwarding it on to Redlands. Tony

I've created a hosted feature layer view from a hosted feature layer that includes numerous fields with domains. According to the esri documentation here, domains (value lists and ranges) should be inherited. However, my experience has been that some domains 'disappear' from the hosted feature layer view after fields are defined for it or symbology altered. I think this is a bug but has anyone else experienced this and/or have a suggested solution?

Is it possible to undertake basic calculations with Operations Dashboard? An existing operations view (created with windows desktop app) displays the number of trees surveyed by 3 size categories. I would like to multiply each of these 3 values by a tree removal rate (3 different dollar rates, one for each tree size category) and total all three to get a total dollar value for tree removal by user-selected community (using filter). The dollar values by community coming from the dashboard would be used by office coordinators to direct field staff collecting tree data (with Collector). Tony Viveiros

I've created an extensive operations view using Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS (windows app) and was wondering if I could easily convert this into the new browser based Operations Dashboard. I was hoping I didn't have to start over again with the new browser Dashboard. Tony Viveiros

Hi Kelly...perhaps I'm missing something, but renaming the hosted tile layer name within the web map doesn't work for me. I would like to rename the highlighted tile layer below. The only options that appear for the hosted tile layer in the web map are the two associated with the pop-up. The second image below shows how this tile layer name then appears within a web app that references that web map.

I'm trying to include only a specific portion of a youtube video as the cover or intro of my cascade story map. I would only like the first 17 seconds of the video to play and have this autoplay & loop as well. I've tried what's been suggested here by editing the original JSON code and creating the code below within ArcGIS Online Assistant. However, the video loops only once (it plays in its entirety after the first loop) and audio is also present now (wasn't the case when I originally tried linking to the video from the cascade story map template). Any suggestions on how to remove the audio and get the cascade intro video to loop from 1-17 seconds endlessly?

Yes, that's what I'm trying to rename. I was hoping I didn't have to create the tile package again simply to rename the layer. Tile package creation can be very time consuming (days for some that I've created).

I've managed to create a survey that references the same hosted feature service as Collector. I did this for one of my simpler workflows that does not have repeats. This workflow is disconnected so I'm trying to use the S123 Inbox with all pre-established plot points field staff will be surveying; however, I'm still calling the survey from Collector using custom url syntax. I was wondering if attributes for points selected in Collector can be used to filter what needs to be edited within S123. I've tried using the S123 Inbox Filter to query for BLK_ID = ${BLK_ID} and PLOT_NUM = ${PLOT_NUM}; both of which are being passed to S123 from Collector. However, I get a Code 400 error (cannot perform query. Invalid parameters) when trying to refresh the S123 Inbox. Is it possible to query the S123 inbox using field values passed into it from Collector when using the same feature service? Thanks. Tony
