Yes, one of the things we are working to bring to Collector is GPS averaging. This is mentioned in our sneak peek.

Unfortunately we don't support using the SD card on Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later. This is something on our roadmap.

Yes, that was implemented! See "Optimize download and sync" in Prepare maps for offline use—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS for details.

Since Collector is designed for data collection, this is as-designed. As others have mentioned, you could just have an editable layer that you don't use. However, I'm curious about your workflow. Could you email me some info about what you are trying to do by using both Collector and Survey123? Kylie kdonia@esri.com

Yes, for a map to show up in Collector it needs to have an editable layer. Collector doesn't work with apps, just maps. Troubleshooting—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi Mike -- In the first and second picture, there is an attribute without a title after Longitude. That is what the white box is on Windows: the place for that attribute that has no title. Looking at the icons in your picture, it looks like you are viewing the details of the feature on Windows, while on Android you are editing them. As such, you'll see differences: when viewing, you should be able to view the attachments if that particular feature has any. While editing, you'll be able to add and remove them. My guess is perhaps the feature you are viewing on Windows doesn't have attachments so you aren't seeing any when viewing the details (or it does, and to see them you need to scroll farther down). But if you were to tap the pencil icon and start editing that feature, you'd be able to attach them.

Hi Clark -- Explorer for ArcGIS isn't available on Windows. Also, I didn't get the same impression as you about the blog post, and I didn't feel it targeted any particular platform. If you could clarify for me where you felt it was exclusive to iOS and Android, I can take a look at that. Thanks!

Thanks Matt! I tried that string, and I get no results, but no crash, either. I'm testing on a different version of iOS though -- I will try on iOS 10 soon. I will keep you posted! Could you send me a message with your contact email so that we can figure this out?

Great, I can see your map. I've made a copy to test with. Are you working online or offline when you see the crash? Could you also provide the string you are searching for that shows you the crash?

You don't need to change the layer; just enter your search string and Collector will search with the place search and layers.

Hi Matt -- You can search layers that are configured for search in the map. Please see Configure feature search—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS for details on how to do so. Would that enable the type of search you are looking for?
