You'd have to locate that object ID before calling Collector. Centering on a feature isn't currently supported.

Gotcha. Yeah, to center Collector you'd have to know the location of that previously collected point before launching the app. So how you'd get that depends on how/where you are calling Collector from. There isn't a way to find a particular existing feature to center on as part of launching the app.

Hi Joe -- You don't have to start a new feature collect to center. There is an example of this in the Collector URL scheme GitHub repo: Center at a given location The location on which to center the map. center : (optional) Specified as a set of latitude, longitude (y,x) coordinates. Coordinates must be in WGS84. The following example URL defines a map to open and a location to center the map: arcgis-collector://?itemID=35b1ccecf226485ea7d593f100996b49¢er=34.0547155,-117.1961714

Hi Joe -- Yes, you can use the Collector URL scheme to launch the app, open a map, and center on a particular location. You can't open a popup through it though. See "Can my users open Collector from my emails, websites, or apps?" in FAQs for map creation—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS, as well as the Collector URL scheme GitHub repo.

Labeling in Collector is coming with the Aurora Project release of the app. The app is in beta on iOS and Android, and labeling is supported. I'd recommend signing up for the beta and seeing how it works for your data: Collector for ArcGIS (Aurora on the Android Platform)

At this time, directions in Explorer on Android are only supported with Navigator for ArcGIS, so you need Navigator installed to see the Directions option. The doc incorrectly lists Google Maps support. There is a request in to get the doc fixed (thanks for bringing it to my attention!) Adding support for getting directions in Google Maps is planned: BUG-000114385: Unable to navigate from Explorer for ArcGIS (Android..

Hi Jürgen -- Basemaps are now available in the overflow menu when viewing a map (the three dots in the upper right corner). You no longer need to go to Manage to remove downloaded maps--go to the offline map area in the Maps list and the overflow menu (three dots) includes removing the area. For us to best help you, could you please provide your feedback in the beta community (Welcome to our Feedback Community)? Thank you!

Hi Devarsi - Please see this help "Customize the map" that is shown in the context of making your first project: Create your first project—Workforce for ArcGIS | ArcGIS If you have already created the project, you can update it by going to your projects list in the app, hovering the project you'd like to update, and clicking "Configure" (the gear icon). Then you'll see the same tabs the help is talking about.

Thanks for the feedback, Dale! The way this works is changing in the Aurora Project release of Collector (out in beta now). If you aren't already part of the beta, I'd recommend joining it and trying it out there and seeing what you think: https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/collector-for-arcgis/blog/2017/09/06/the-aurora-project With the Aurora Project release, when you create a new feature and submit it, you are returned to the map with that new feature's details showing. Once you are ready to copy that feature (for example, after moving to your new location), there is a copy button in the details of the new feature that is on the screen.
